I know I should really be finishing chapter 10 of The Bane of My Existance but I can't seem to get that chapter where i want it ): Anyway the song Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawk came on my ipod and I got inspired to write this :) Just a short some of Magnus thoughts on Alec around COA/COG

Magnus was sitting with his chin in his hands and blew a stray hair out of his face. He didn't understand, Alec was the one that had come to him asking if he wanted to go out with him. It was Alec who had said he liked Magnus, so why was he avoiding him like this?

Of course, in the few weeks they've dated Magnus has inexplicably fell in love with the boy. Magnus had been in love many times before, but he never quite felt this way about someone. In any other one of Magnus's past relationships he would care less if the person was avoiding him, if they didn't want to be with Magnus they could leave.

Alec of course was another story entirely. Here he was avoiding Magnus and refusing to accept that they had any kind of relationship because he was so deep in the closet, and yet Magnus was willing to forgive him. If Alec didn't want to acknowledge Alec and he had a relationship then he won't acknowledge it. If Alec wanted to hide in the closet Magnus was willing to accept it and wouldn't approach him in front of his parents.

Even if it hurt Magnus he would let Alec go if thats what Alec wanted. Thats the pain of love. Magnus will always be by his side because to Magnus Alec is sacred. He is a person like no other he has met in his lifetime.
