True Beauty
Author's Notes: I don't own Uglies.
As a Bubblehead, I went through a lot,
The Bubblehead operation, the Special operation,
True love, parties, and other things too,
What I now can't tell though is, when is beauty really true?,
Not all people who are pretty outside are pretty inside,
some people who are ugly outside are pretty inside,
When do they both collide?,
There's a question who's answer we may never see,
What really is True Beauty?,
Can it ever be found?,
Or whenever we try to find it will it end upside down?,
There are so many things, that come to my mind,
You'd have to be kind,
Caring, sharing,
Happy, Never snappy,
Pretty inside and out,
Ending people's doubts,
But does it really exist? or is there no such thing as true beauty?,
Because when you look at me,
The inside isn't as beautiful as out,
It's filled with lesions, no doubt,
Oh well, I guess we will never see,
What really is True Beauty.
