Oki was in complete relief after succeeding in defeating Nechku & Lechku. Samickle, and the entire tribe praised him for his doings. He realized that through the adventure he learned to not be so selfish with the Kutone. He knew it was wrong to take the sword, but he insisted on destroying the twin demons.
He stood on the top of the hill in Wep'keer, watching the moon rise over Kamui. At first, he thought that the lesson was the only gain he got from that quest. But he quickly seen that wrong. He met an extraordinary goddess, Amaterasu. She was the one who actually shown him the lesson in the first place. Her and Shiranui. Once thinking about Amaterasu, he began to suddenly miss her. She was continuing with her mission after helping him succeed his.
He remembered the moment when they both fought together against Nechku & Lechku, it was amazing to him. She was a very powerful wolf, and they were an incredible team. The feeling he had towards her would drag back the times that he was with her before they went separate ways. Amaterasu lived far from Kamui, almost the opposite side of Nippon. The thought was difficult to handle. But, he had a feeling that someday they would both meet again. They worked together to help Shiranui, and because of them Nechku and Lechku no longer can hurt Kamui, nor the rest of Nippon.
Oki knew that the time they had together in Wep'keer was very special. It was probably one of the best moments in his life.
He wanted to see Amaterasu so bad. Just to thank her properly, like he should've before she left. It was too late for that, though. But- was it really? It was possible to see her again, but he would need to travel far and far. Visiting a goddess...it wouldn't be so simple. Especially the Sun Goddess, Amaterasu. Just thinking about her name made him smile. He stood up on his paws, and turned away from the hill as the moon fully rose above the high mountain. There was enough time. It would be, yet, another mission for him. To see Amaterasu again.
~~This is my first romance fanfiction. I was playing Okami and once I met Oki- I just loved him. Him and Ammy will always be my favorite characters lol. I also thought that they looked great together as a couple. There aren't many fanfictions of these two so I took about five minutes of my time to quickly create this. Hope you enjoyed it.
