This is a half-paraody of a song called, 'Ruben and Rachel,' which is a children's song. As usual, the only thing I do own in this fic are the plot and Firestorm.
It was one of those rare nights on the Autobot base where all was quiet and serene. At least on the outside.
The inside of said base was another story all together. All of the Autobots (plus Starscream and the authoress) were gathered together, drinking Energon (or Pepsi in the authoress'case) and generally having a good time.
"Hey! Starscream! Let's sing a song!" called Firestorm jovially, half hanging on his arm. It was obvious that she was not entirely sober.
"Delete that thought from your processor, Firestorm! I...do...not...sing," Starscream nearly yelled at her. Immediately, the young femme's lip began to quiver.
"Starscream doesn't love me anymore!" she cried.
Starscream sighed to himself (and sweatdropped) while the authoress giggled to herself. Man, that Firestorm had Starscream whipped, but good. She could get him to do anything.
"Fine, Firestorm."
"Yay!" she cried, hugging him.
"Why do I put up with her?" Starscream wondered aloud.
"Becasue you love her!" the Authoress piped up.
"Shut your mouth, you silly Human, and find us a song to sing."
"As a matter of fact, Starscream, I have just the song. But of course, you'll have to sing it your way. It's called 'Ruben and Rachel' only this version is called, 'Starscream and Firestorm' Enjoy!" she replied with a wicked grin, starting the music.
Firestorm: Starscream, Starscream, I've been thinkin'
What a grand world this would be
If the mechs were all transported
Far beyond the crystal sea
Starscream (with half-gritted teeth): Oh, my goodness gracous, Firestorm
What a strange world this would be
If the mechs were all transported
Far beyond the crystal sea
Firestorm: Starscream, Starscream, I've been thinkin'
What a great life femmes would lead
If they had no mechs around them
None to tease them, none to heed
Starscream (starting to enjoy it): Firestorm, now I've been thinkin'
Mechs would have a merry time
If at once they were transported
Far beyond the salty brine
Firestorm: Starscream, Starscream, stop your teasing
If you've any love for me
I was only just a-foolin'
But I thought, of course, you'd see
Starscream (now thoroughly enjoying it): Firestorm, if you will have me
I will take you for my wife
And I'll split with you my money
Every pay day of my life
"Will you really, Stascream?" inquired Firestorm with shining optics.
Silence.
"Yes, Firestorm."
"Yay!"
The young femme didn't notice the daggers Starscream was throwing at the Authoress.
"I hope you're happy."
"Yes, I am," replied the Authoress, and made a hasty retreat from the party before the seeker decided to cause her harm.
So, what do you think? Lemme know!
