Summary: Danny loves Sam, but is he willing to admit this before it's too late? How will Sam react?
"Why didn't I listen to you Danny?"
"Why couldn't I just swallow my pride? Why did I have to be stupid?"
Sam asked herself this for the hundredth time. Looking out her bedroom window she saw that all the lights had gone out in town.
Inside she felt that it was her fault that Danny was in the hospital. That wasn't true but her inner being was telling her so.
(Flash Back)
It all started when Sam overheard a conversation between Tucker and Danny.
"Admit it Danny, you like Sam." "Tucker, do we have to go through this again? I already told you that I don't like her."
At this point Sam's heart broke in two. Deep inside of her, she had a hope that Danny would like her. But not wanting to hear more, she left.
Meanwhile, Danny was growing tired and annoyed with Tucker. "Tucker, if I tell you something, will you leave me alone?" Tucker quickly nodded. "I don't like Sam, I love her." "WAIT, what did you just say?" "I said I love her! But she probably…"
Danny never got to finish this sentence because at that exact moment, out of nowhere Danny got blasted squarely in the chest. Sadly enough, he wasn't in ghost mode. Danny tried to see who had done that to him but he felt that he was falling through a remote darkness. Before he blacked out the face of someone special swam to his mind and after that brief moment of happiness, he immediately blacked out.
