After school, Gabriella went back home. She had to study but her mind was somewhere else. She was thinking about Troy.
She sat on her bed, daydreaming. Thinking about the next weekend. They would spend it together, of course. A movie, maybe a picnic in the park. Anything as long as they were together.
Then, she looked at her desk. There was something there. Something that wasn't there before. A letter.
Mom must have gotten the mail already, she thought, I wonder what it can be. I never get anything.
She opened the letter.
"Dear Gabriella,
I just wanted to write this to tell you how much I love you. You mean the world to me.
I just want to be with you. And I mean all the time. Kiss you, hold you, whisper in your ear how beautiful you are.
You're beautiful, smart, sweet, kind… I can't find the right words but you are everything I want, everything I like. You are perfect in every way. There isn't a thing I would change about you.
There isn't a day I don't think about you. A day, what am I saying? I mean a minute. You're always on my mind, in my heart, in my head.
You're the only one I want to be with. I've never felt this way before. You're special.
Go outside and look at the stars. Make a wish. I will do the same. My wish will be that I never want to be apart.
I want you to be mine, Gabriella. Will you be mine?

Gabriella smiled, blushed, felt so happy. She had really found the perfect guy.
She grabbed her cell and called him. She had to thank him for the beautiful letter and tell him how much she loved him.
"You're so sweet, Troy. Yes, I want to be yours. I love you!"
"I love you even more!"
