Sad oneshot I thought up, just to warn you peoples...
Discalimer: I still don't own Avatar
Dear Katara of the Watertribe,
I am sad to announce that your husband, Avatar Aang, has been killed in a firenation rebel raid of his campsite, he was killed from behind, he unfortunatly died a painful death, but before he died, he told me to tell you he loves you and Gyatso with all his heart, and that he'll miss you. Please forgive me, and all other men that went with him on this journey, for not saving him.

Katara cried, she cried for so long, it hurt to cry, but she knew she must move on, for Aang would want her too. But the only problem is, she'll be tortured everyday from looking at their only son, Gyatso. Named after Aang's airbending mentor, but was like Aang in so many way's.
First of all, he had Aang's eyes, his smile, even his cute little nose, his skin, a little darker than Aang's, and he was an airbender! But most of all, Gyatso had Aang's spirit, he loved to learn his element, and was always so happy. It hurts to look at him, when he came through the door and saw me crying, his concerned face was just like Aang's, even his 12-year-old-voice sounded like Aang's at that age, but what can I do, he's my son, and I love him.
"Mom, what's wrong?" He asked. I sobbed more, "Mom?" he asked again.
"It's your father." I finally spoke. "What about him, did he fall off that cliff again? Cause he's done that so many times, I don't know why that's such a big deal, it's-"
"No sweetheart, you father, is dead." I said, Gyatso's eye's rimmed with tears, "W-what? No! That can't be! He can't be dead! Not dad! He's fallen off that cliff a hundred times and lived! He couldn't be!" Gyatso screamed.
"Gyatso it's true, a firenation rebel raid killed your father at his own campsite, they attacked him from behind." I said, tears falling down my face, Gyatso was crying too. "But, dad always seemed so, untouchable." He said quietly. I hugged him, he hugged me like Aang did so many times when we were younger, I rubbed the top of his head, his soft black hair, like Aang's, was wet. "Honey, why's your head wet?" I asked drying off tears. "That's what I needed to tell you, somehow, I waterbended mom." He told me. I was shocked. "But only the Avatar can master all four elements!" I said.
"I know, but you said dad never completed his firebending training, and I'm part of his bloodline, maybe, I'm the Avatar now." Gyatso said, his voice cracking.
"Maybe you are, and if you are, we're gonna need to start training." I said. "But won't waterbending remind you of dad?" He asked. "I think your father would want me to remember him, even if it hurt to do so." I thought I heard Aang's laughter as a cool breeze came by when we walked outside. "Did you hear that mom?" Gyatso asked. "It sounded like dad laughing."
"I think it was, that probably means his spirit traveled here, just to watch over us." I said.
"Yeah," Gyatso said, "I can see dad doing that!" I laughed, for the first time since Aang left for his trip, I knew it was a bad idea all along, but what could I do, he was the Avatar, and now our son is, and he reminds me of Aang so much, but what can I do, he's my son, and I love him.
I know, sad, 'but what can I do? It's a sad oneshot, and I love it.' REVIEW. And the cliff they're talking about, where Aang was heading there's a cliff that, everytime they go there, Aang falls off it.
