Bobby Manning left his apartment in a great mood. He was enjoying the morning so far, as he had just talked to Darcy. It was a warm, summer day and he had planned to take Darcy to the National Mall to walk around and they could just talk. He loved to do things like that with her. As he locked his building behind him, he didn't see a figure creep up and come up behind him. He also didn't know what hit him as the figure dealt him a blow to the back of the head.

Bobby fell to the top stair, his world going black. The figure grinned maliciously at the unconscious FBI agent. He carried Bobby to a waiting van and tossed him inside before shutting the door and speeding away.

"Top of the morning to you all!" Myles said, almost bounding into the bull pen. He was tossing an apple up and down as he strode over to his desk.

The others looked at each other and rolled their eyes as Myles sat at his desk. *What's with him?* Sue signed to Lucy, grinning broadly.

*I don't know,* Lucy signed back. Everyone else smiled as Myles looked at them all.

"What are all you looking at?" he asked, turning his computer on.

"You, you seem so...hmmm, what's the word, chipper?" Jack asked, glancing over at Sue and signing what he said. Sue snickered quietly as she sat down at her desk and hid behind the computer screen and laughed. Myles looked around a file he was looking at and over at the laughing woman.

"What? Can't a guy be happy in the morning?" Myles asked.

"Yeah, but it's unusual for you," D said wickedly.

"Oh, ha ha," Myles retorted, hiding back behind his file.

"Hey, where's Bobby? He downstairs or something," Lucy asked, realizing that the tall Aussie wasn't in his normal spot tormenting Myles. Her phone began ringing, so she ran to answer it.

"I don't know. I haven't talked to him today," Jack replied looking around. It wasn't like Bobby to not be in the office before everyone.

"He's probably grabbing breakfast or something. Hope he's bringing enough for all of us," Myles replied as the others laughed.

"Yeah, a nice scone from Starbucks. Mmm, that sounds good!" Tara said, getting herself a cup of coffee.

"Jack, I have a man on line 2 that says he is a friend of agents Manning and Hudson. He wants to talk to you," Lucy said, standing and looking at Jack. She knew something wasn't right; she had heard that voice before.

"Put him through," Jack replied, picking his phone up. " Hudson ."

Lucy moved next to Sue and nudged her. *Hey, something's wrong with that call.*

*What's up?* Sue signed back.

*I'm not sure, I recognize that voice, but I can't place it.*

Lucy looked up sharply when Jack's voice became louder. "Where is he?! Hey!" Jack stared at the phone for a moment before slamming it down. He looked up to see all of his co-workers looking at him.

He took a deep breath before saying what he even had a hard time grasping, "Bobby has been kidnapped. That was the kidnapper."

The others looked at each other before looking back at Jack.

"It was Tobias Crane."

Everyone looked at Lucy, her eyes as big as saucers. Sue looked at her, *What was that name?*

As Lucy signed it to Sue, the others looked to Jack for confirmation. He sighed, then said, "Lucy is right. It's Crane."

"I thought he was in jail for a while," Tara said.

"I thought so too. He has Bobby. We have to get him away from the maniac."

"Who is Tobias Crane?" Sue asked softly.

Jack raised his had to get Sue's attention, "Bobby and I sent him to jail about 5 years ago on drug charges, assault with deadly weapon, you name it. He was…ticked off. He vowed he would get even. We thought he would be away for a long time. But apparently he didn't get put away long enough. We have to find him. We have to find Bobby."
