Prolouge
He tried to cry out Brackenfur's name, but it came out so disorted even the hawk that hald him cried out in fear.
Soon Snowkit found himself above forest, long stretches of forest.
He closed his eyes, for the claws that gripped his shoulders let go, and he fell. Falling down and down.
He was going to die. He knew it!
He mewled in sorror, but no one heard. He wanted his mother Specakletail, his friends Bramblekit and Twanykit!. But he was falling to his death!
the blood from his wound on his shoulders fell along with him and never touched him. He was about to land, head first, when he heard a voice.
"Hidden, the snow shall be stained with blood, and appear as midnight isself"
Snowkit's eyes shot open! For he had heard something! Something amazing, and something he did not understand!
That was when he heard the wind howling in his ears.
So many sounds, so many surprises.
Then he toppled onto a tree branch that suddenly stuck out into the air. Before snowkit could slip and fall, he used his claws to grip the branch and hold himself down.
He took a deep breath and sighed in relief.
he looked around. He was safe, but he was alone.
