'Perfect,' Mark muttered to himself as he observed his handy work. He had wanted to do something special for Natasha to reassure her that Faye was a thing of the past, one which he was more than happy to forget about. He'd struggled to come up with anything special enough until Will had started asking questions about their first meeting and suddenly he'd had the perfect idea. Know here he was in the middle of the woods, lights hanging from trees branches with a hamper full of food laid out on a rug below. Looking at the scene in front of him he couldn't help but think about the first time he had met her when she'd stumbled upon him in the park sitting on the exact same rug that was currently lying on the floor.

'Are you alright? Sorry I didn't mean to pry, you just looked a bit lonely and upset, you know what ignore me its known of my business,' Natasha cursed herself, she was babbling and in front of a complete stranger as well.

'I'm Fine thank you and it's ok,' she was beautiful and he found her bumbling cute, noticing her begin to leave he quickly made up his mind she was someone he wanted to get to know better 'um do you want to join me?' he could have hit himself he sounded like a some strange stalker and he could tell he'd freaked her out a little 'I mean I was um it's just um,' he was struggling to make what he had said sound better 'look I was stood up and it would um it be a shame to waste all this food, but I understand if you don't I realise it sounds a bit odd,'

She looked at him for a while he looked harmless enough and he'd gone to a lot of trouble for someone but at the same time they were in the middle of a park at night and she didn't even know his name 'Sure why not,' she didn't know why she'd agreed but everything about this guy just drew her in and there were plenty of lights around 'I'm Natasha,' she looked more closely at the food laid out on the rug ' You've got good taste,'

'Why thank you, at least someone appreciates it,' he hadn't meant it to sound so harsh but he was still slightly annoyed at being stood up, at least the night wasn't going to be a total waste 'I'm sorry, that came out a bit harsh, I'm Mark by the way Mark Wylde,'

Handing her two glasses he pulled a bottle out of the hamper 'Champagne?'

'Mark are you out here? Mark hey there you are, Nathan said you wanted to speak....' her sentence died as she noticed the lights and the picnic laid out in front of her.

'My way of saying sorry for everything I've put you through lately,' he couldn't gage her reaction which worried him; he became even more concerned when he saw her eyes glaze over 'Natasha?'

'It's amazing, I can't believe you did all this for me it's just like when we first met,' the tears were know freely flowing, she'd been so horrible to him lately and he'd been trying so hard 'I'm sorry it's just so thoughtful,' she sniffed as he pulled her into him.

'It's ok, as long as you like it,' he held her tighter 'I love you and I'm sorry if I ever made you doubt that,'

'I know and I love you too,' pulling away she grabbed his hand and led him towards the blanket, noticing as she did for the first time what was on it 'are these the same things you had with you that day in the park?'

'More or less, some things I couldn't get hold of but the majority is the same,' he could see her eyes start to glaze over again. As he pulled her closer to him he made a mental note to treat Will for giving him the idea.
