(Read this first part as if you were in the room)
"Home is lonely sometimes. Then again this place isn't really my home. Forgive me though, I should show myself" A brown mare with long bands covering her eyes stepped out of the shadows. She walked over to the wall and switched on a light. Although you cannot see much more than before you can make out rows of empty bookcases. "Desolate isn't it?" says the mare from behind you almost making you jump out of your skin. "I don't bother with books anymore." She turns and walks away from you towards the table. She sits down and picks up a pencil and starts to draw. After a few minutes you turn to leave and she hears you get up. "Why are you still here?" *poof*
(You have been magically teleported back to your house and the point of view has changed)
The mare moved away from the table to turn off the light. As she did the pencil kept moving caught in an almost invisible golden glow. She returned to the table and sighed putt the pencil down. She seemed to glance down at the paper for a moment before rolling it up and putting it into a cardboard tube. She strapped the tube onto her back and over her cloak. She then headed out the door, slamming it shut behind her, and steeling herself for a trip into Canterlot. As she travelled down the back streets and alleys she managed to avoid anypony but she was careful to keep her head down anyways. There were someponies that she didn't care to meet.
Soon she had arrived at her destination. It was in one of the well off neighborhoods. The exact place she was going was an under-construction coffee house. As she walked up to it she could hear the owner arguing with the contractor about something. She walked up and pulled out a blue print and held it in front of them. They both looked at it and agreed that the design was completely doable. After the owner left she gave the contractor the blueprint and thanked him for his troubles and went on her way
Before she could make a clean escape into an alley a wind whooshed around her smelling like cupcakes, accompanied by the sound of galloping hooves and a voice she had been avoiding for almost a year now. "Hey! You! Hey! Stop! Can we be friends!? Can I throw you a party!? Are you new here!?" The brown mare grimaced and tried to step forward. Instead she hit flank. After trying a couple of different direction she took the easy way out and teleported herself home leaving the other pony behind. Once she was there she locked all the doors, drank some water and prepared for a long night.
~The next morning~
The brown mare sat up and stretched her cramped limbs. The long night of drawing blueprints had taken its toll on her and she needed some food and sleep. Sighing she got up and wandered into her kitchen. She grabbed some crackers and water along with her daily medication and sat down to eat. As she tipped back her head to swallow her pills her bangs fell back and revealed her eyes. They were a uniform milky-white color.
Well I'm not exactly sure what's going on here... This is a story about my OC... Let's see where it goes... More backstory in later chapters. Toodles.
