"I think forever is an incorrect concept"-Hazel Grace, The Fault in Our Stars.

Kensi's POV

I was chasing down a suspect. I thought he was disarmed. But I was wrong. I felt a few shots of pain in my chest and everything is blurry from there. Deeks' voice sounds afraid, Sam is putting pressure on my wounds with Callen's help. It hurts so much that I blackout from all the pain. I dream about last night. Deeks told me that our love would last forever. Forever. Forever. That word keeps echoing in my head until I can hear what I think is Sam's voice telling me to fight and to hang on. He doesn't know the pain I'm going though. The doctors inject me with something and their voices and the beeping of the machines start to drown away. But I'm afraid for some reason. I can't hear Deeks, Sam or Callen's voices.

The room is white with rose red curtains and a white crib is in the corner with dark red sheets. The wall has Kensi Marie painted in cursive. It's my nursery from when I was a child. I can hear a voice. A deep one. I can hear the laughter of a woman as well. And the cooing of a baby. The people walk in and I see it's my father. And my mother. And baby me. "Dad! Mom!" I yell.

"They can't hear you, Fern." says a familiar voice. I turn my head. it's Deeks. "Deeks!" I hug him.

"Nice robes, sugarbear." I look down. I'm wearing a deep purple robe. It has an orange piece down the middle and a purple sash.

"What the heck?" I say.

"The sun is setting, Kens. You gotta go." CRACK! I run to the window. Lightning. There's a storm going on outside.

"Try to open the door, Kensilina." I walk over and pull with all my might. I open it and step on the welcome mat. Below, is a swirl of clouds ad in he center is light. "Jump, Fern. I'll be there to catch you." says Deeks. I jump and fall into the swirl of light.

I hear beeping again. "Oh, thank god!" I hear someone say. Callen.

"She sure is stubborn." says Sam! I open my eyes and I see all three of my team mates standing above me. "Hey, guys." I croak.

"What's up bedhead?" says Deeks chuckling. Then everything starts fading. "No, Kens, stay with us!" I hear someone say as I fade into the darkness. Deeks was wrong. There is no such thing as forever. When I come out, I see my house again. With My father standing right there to greet me.
