Watson was hungry, no he was starving. The hunger consumed every facet of his being, his heart, his soul, his heart, and most of all his stomach. They all demanded one thing, a lemon! Watson got up form his chair and set himself to the task. He walked over to the Kitchen, and saw Sherlock standing their. His tall lanky figure illuminated by the iridescent light of the refrigerator. "Sherlock", John said as he rubbed his eyes, "what are you doing?" "Searching for a man"he said. "A man whose been by my side all these years, and yet I've never told him the one thing I should have told him the day I met him.

"I'm looking for a lemon", John said feebly, in awe of the strength of this passion he had not seen in Sherlock before. "Well maybe we can find what we are both looking for", the great detective said. "Yes John agreed. Yes we can."

Just then the door to 221 B Baker Street swung open and in strutted Mycroft Homes,a man who was by his brother's accounts, more of a personal embodiment of the will of the British government than the Prime Minister, or even the Queen. "Mycroft" Sherlock yelled with the enthusiasm of a small child whose father has come home from work. Mycroft squealed with shock as his younger brother embraced him. "I love you big brother!", Sherlock exclaimed. "I know" Mycroft said with a heartwarming smile. "And to celebrate our newfound brotherly affection I brought you lemons.

John feasted on the lemons with the hunger of a man whose greatest desires were being fulfilled. He knew the lemons were sour and dangerous to eat, but he was not just quenching his hunger. He was quenching the inner subconscious desire for danger that had ached inside him ever since he had returned from Afghanistan.

After Mycroft left Sherlock turned around, looked at Watson, and burst out laughing. "What's so funny?" asked Watson. "Why you actually fell for it" said Sherlock. "Fell for what?" Watson asked. "I wasn't talking to you." And with that Sherlock Holmes turned to all the fangirls and fanboys hoping for a certain other definition of lemon and laughed.
