His baby's tires eat up the pavement like a starving man in front of a feast. His heart beats faster with each quarter-mile put between him and the realization that he doesn't know his little brother at all anymore.
Sure his smile was the same, maybe his eyes a little harder, a little darker. But he'd slipped back into the passenger seat like the second skin it is.
Dean never thought for a moment that Sam had gone dark side, was lying to his face.
And now he's scared to death to see just how wrong he was.
