Enjoy-

The rock had landed on number seven. Sakura bounced with inner joy as she hopped her way past seven as she played hopscotch. She loved this game, much like her once precious apple sauce. And it was one thing that damn Uchiha hadn't taken from her yet, since he had taken her beloved applesauce from her that fateful day. She had refused to eat it again. As she played with Ino and TenTen, glad that today was not his visiting day, she watched Ino throw the rock and land on three.

Sakura had been playing hopscotch ever since Ino introduced the game to her. She can't get enough of it. People could never play enough hopscotch.

And that, my dear readers, is when she heard his voice.

"Mother, how are you today?" Sakura froze in her new pink shoes. No. He couldn't do it! He wouldn't dare do it! He wouldn't ruin this beautiful day!

"I'm fine! But what are you doing here?" Mrs Uchiha asked her son. Sakura glanced around, looking for places to hide. The tree, maybe? Damn it, she was too short. But as she felt his eyes bore into her, she made her decision, She would climb the wretched tree.

You see, that tree had a reputation. Any child that dared to climb it would get stuck in it's branches, striking fear into the children's souls, refusing to let them down. That's usually when the teachers came in, because only they were brave enough to get the children from the evil tree's clutches.

"I finished my work early." he said, watching her. Sakura climbed the monkey bars bravely, pretending she was on top of a rickety bridge, reaching for her true-loves hands to save her from a horrible death.. Finding it much easier to climb the tree, she grabbed one of it's thick branches and pulled her tiny form onto the branch. She climbed higher and higher, until she could see the entire playground.

By then many-a-child had gathered in awe of the brave pink haired-hopscotch-obsessed girl who had dared to climb the evil tree. She felt so proud of herself, until she realized something.

"I can't get down!!!!" She cried in utter horror. Tears began to fall as the scared child realised her position in the situation at hand. In her attempt to get away and hid from the Uchiha, who could see her without difficulty, since he was chuckling at her while his mom frantically freaked out, she had climbed to high on the tree.

And now, she was stuck.

"Itachi-chan, HELP ME!!!!!!" The young girl wailed, not even caring that the name she called out belonged to the applesauce-hopscotch ruining monster and sworn enemy. She cried helplessly, clutching onto the tree for dear life as Itachi leisurely complied to her request. He reached up, standing only on his toes, and grabbed her gently.

"T-thank you." she whispered, hugging his neck desperately. Itachi stroked her hair gently, shushing her as he attempted to calm her down. He handed her off to his mother, before sticking his hands back into his pockets. Mrs. Uchiha thanked her son repeatedly, then scolded Sakura for attempting such a life threatening feat. Sakura apologized to her teacher, then smiled up at Itachi, thanking him again and again.

Okay, so the applesauce eating, hopscotch ruining, monster wasn't so bad.
