Awhile ago I read this really awesome Karin Kurosaki one-shot called and I was listening to some song called Full Circle, and was inspired.
Arisawa is not a patient person by nature. Although she is normally a serious person, she can also be very rash at times.
And despite popular belief, she is very emotional. And because of that, she trained herself to be strong. To be able to crush anyone who hurt her or her friends. In a way, similar to Ichigo Kurosaki.
Ah, Ichigo Kurosaki. Her childhood best friend. But after what has happened, even calling him a friend would be generous.
He betrayed her. He would go off with those shinigami people, fighting to save the world and all that jazz. Great, right?
But Tatsuki hated-no, still hates, being protected. After all, that's why she is the second best female martial artist, right?
He knew. He, fucking, new. He knew how much his absence would affect the totally-not oblivious Tatsuki and his other friends. Keigo. Mizuiro. And yet, he left anyway. But she foolishly still believed. She believed that he would come back.
She also waited for Orihime. Orihime Inoue, her best friend since elementary school. Did Orihime forget everything that Tatsuki did for her? Tatsuki protected her from the bullies, she helped her gain confidence, ate her terrible food when no one else would, and stayed by her side all those years.
So she waited. She waited for him to return to his normal self, and to tell her the truth.
As time passed, she grew more and more pissed. Remember that time when she punched Ichigo into a window? That was barely a fraction of her power. Her pent-up anger. It wasn't enough. They both knew that.
But she still believed. And so she waited. She waited for Ichigo, for Orihime, even for Ishida.
One day, a thought crossed her. Was it fate for this to happen? Would she never be strong enough to stand beside them? Beside Ichigo, who saved the world multiple times? Orihime who could bring the dead back to life? Ishida, who could fire and thousands of arrows at once? Even Chad was powerful, with those explode-y arms of his.
But Tatsuki couldn't do anything but hope, believe and wait. The three things she hated most. So she pulled herself together.
But that little doubt wouldn't go away. Was it fate that this would happen?
Screw this. Tatsuki told herself, Oh well. I'm just gonna have to beat fate then, right?
Eeep, I don't know how to end it...Supposed to be a fic on a badass character, and how she was totally underrated and needs more love, but I don't know how I did. Please leave a review! ^^ I chose Tatsuki because in fanfiction, pretty all I could find were pairings with her. As much as I love pairing up characters, I feel that she has a lot more to her and possibility for character development.
