Chapter 1

I still can't believe I'm doing this. Well, here goes nothing.

Hello, I'm Cassandra. Andra for short. I'm 15 years old. My birthday is June 2nd. I was born just a minute after midnight. And there is still an amazing fact about me. You'll find out later.

I have 3 siblings. Amanda, Stella, and Karolyn. In fact, we all have something special.

You won't believe me, but here it comes.

We're vampires.

Chapter 2

When I open my coffin, I can sense something's wrong.

The house is quiet. Too quiet.

As fast as vampirically possible, I am up and dressed, ready to find out what's wrong. I open Amanda's door. Amanda is the quietest, and is 13 years old. Her bed is neatly made, and her pajamas are folded on her dresser. I search under the bed, her favorite hiding spot, but no sign of her. Instantly, my vampire senses go on. I start listening, seeing and sensing harder.

Nothing.

How strange, I thought. They are blocking me out. Yeah, we can see where we are by just concentrating hard. But, we can also block ourselves so that others can't find or see where we are. It's a win-lose situation.

But, if they were in trouble, they wouldn't block me out. I felt relieved.

I know what you're thinking; Why not ask your parents where your sisters are?

But you see, it's not that simple.

Our parents are dead.

Chapter 3

"Amanda!? Stella!? Karolyn?! Where are you guys?!" I frantically called out. Suddenly, a voice came into my head, it said: Andra, Andra, Andra! We are where the food is, but you can't cook inside it…

Oh yeah. We can also do this too. Send each other messages through our minds. The voice was Karolyn's, the youngest being only 6 years old. She was very smart.

So, where do we keep food, but we can't cook inside it? Hmm…

The pantry! The pantry stores lots of food, and is also a secret room inside of it! Score! I raced to the kitchen.

As soon as I got there, I opened up the secret room inside the pantry. When I was in, my heart filled with joy. They were here, safe and sound. I was also surprised by what I saw.

I was so focused in finding my sisters that I had forgotten it was my 15th birthday! Woo-hoo! I looked around for Stella, the 8 year old, but she was nowhere to be found.

"Stella stop being invisible!"

And if you thought that sentence was weird, then Put down this book.
