Hermione stood there, shocked from the news. After being saved by Neville from the killer python, and the war being over, hearing the death of Fred was something she couldn't handle. The tears began to flow; it was like an endless stream of salty water. Harry, Ron and Hermione entered the great hall to see nothing but wreckage and heartbreak. Bodies lined up at every angle, crying family members and friends, and then we reached them, the Weasley's.
George stood over his identical twin who was as still as a statue, emotionless and gone. Molly had to be escorted away from the family by Arthur, Remus and Tonks finally caught up to see the heartbreak that had struck.
Hermione felt so weak, she dropped to her knee's at Fred's side, whispering in his ear,

Come back Fred,
We need you,
Ron, Ginny, Bill and even Charlie need you.
But most of all, George. Please, come back to us.
I need you, I love you Fred.

Her tears began to run faster and heavier, Harry knelt down beside Hermione, trying his best to comfort her, but she lost it. Hermione got up and ran, ran anywhere, ran somewhere, where she could just cry out her heart.
Ron followed Hermione to the court yard filled with rubble, she sat behind a pile of collapsed walls sobbing quietly to herself.
"Hermione?" Ron whispered,
She glanced at him, then at the ground. Ron sat infront of her, holding her cold hands in his. Ron's cheeks were stained from his tears that had previously ran down his face. He was holding back his tears, trying to stay strong. But really on the inside it was killing him.
"You really loved him huh?" He sighed.
"I miss him already," Hermione's voice was dull but croaky.
By her words, Ron was hurt. He wanted to tell her how much he actually loved her, how every night he stayed awake wanting to just hold her tightly. But he always told himself that it'd never work out, that Hermione would always love Fred more than anyone else.

Ron wiped away her tears with his thumb, holding each other's gaze. Hermione moved in closer, she placed her hand on to the side of Ron's face, still staring deep into each other's eyes.

Then it happened, the first kiss that started everything. The feelings had come out.
It was almost. Magical.
