Another Thomas rewrite, this time it's "Jack Frost" from Season 6, with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.

It was a cold winter day on the Island of Sodor. All the engines were working very hard, but didn't mind the cold because their fireboxes were nice and toasty.

That night, Sir Topham Hatt came to Tidmouth Sheds.

"It's going to be below-zero tonight." he said. "James, you and Percy will work together, delivering extra coal to all the stations."

"Yes sir!" said the engines as Sir Topham Hatt drove away.

"You better hurry!" teased Thomas, "or scary Jack Frost might get you!"

"Who's Jack Frost?" Percy asked nervously.

"Don't be so silly!" snorted James. "Jack Frost is not scary."

"Yes he is!" teased Thomas. "He's all white with a big spiky face."

"Rubbish!" said James.

James knew Jack Frost wasn't scary, but Percy wasn't so sure.

Percy was still nervous as he traveled through the dark countryside.

"Jack Frost is not scary, Jack Frost is not scary!"

Meanwhile, James puffed along his route.

"Silly Percy!" he thought, "all steamed up over Jack Frost!"

Percy made his last delivery. The stationmaster was very pleased to see him.

"Thank you for all this coal!" he said. "You are a really useful engine!"

Percy was pleased.

"If you need extra coal, we have some more." said the driver.

"That would be helpful." said the stationmaster.

So Percy's driver parked him in a siding with only a lantern for company.

"Do you think scary Jack Frost will find me?" asked Percy.

"Jack Frost isn't scary!" chuckled the driver. "And don't worry, Elizabeth will bring you some more coal in the morning."

Then the driver and the fireman went home to sleep, leaving Percy by himself.

Late that night, the cold wind began to blow, and it snowed heavily.

It was so cold, that Percy was covered in icicles. There was even one on his nose.

At last, James was on his way back to Tidmouth Sheds.

In the fog, he could see shadows in strange and scary shapes.

"Scary Jack Frost isn't scary!" mumbled James.

But then, he thought he saw Jack Frost, but really it was Percy.

"Hello James!" stuttered Percy.

"It's scary Jack Frost!" cried James, and he ran as fast as he could to avoid seeing Jack Frost. He didn't stop until he reached the sheds.

The next morning, Elizabeth brought more coal.

"Oh dear!" said Elizabeth. "It looks like Jack Frost got you!"

The firelighter started Percy's fire, and soon all the icicles melted away.

"So scary Jack Frost is only frost!" tooted Percy happily, and soon he was warm as toast.

When Percy arrived at the sheds, James was bragging to the other engines.

"I saw scary Jack Frost last night!" huffed James. "He even knows my name."

"He also knows you ran away!" teased Percy.

All the engines whistled, including James, but Percy whistled the loudest of all!
