Kairi paced back and forth, trying to think of the words to write on the
message she was writing to the boy she had remembered but not his name. She
would get the words inside her head; but they never seemed to make any sense.
She thought to herself after a while "I don't know what to write or even where
to start". She sat down a bit annoyed with herself, all her thought rambled
together. After a while she started to get the correct words, that formed in
her head like melted butter, sickly and sweet. Her pen made quick movements
across the paper. Kairi wrote down what she needed to only to get to another
dead end in the letter. She sighed and said to herself:
"I don't think I will ever finish this it seems impossible to even find the
correct words"
She sighed again and decided just to take a walk to clear her head thinking
that would help her to think.
As she walked she occasionally looked up at the sky, thinking of words to say
finally something came to her and she made note to remember it. After a while
she began to put more and more together so when she returned to the paper that
had things written previously she wrote down the rest she had gotten. She
picked up the paper to read it out loud:
" Thinking of you where ever you are, We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.
Now I will step forward to realize this wish.
And who knows, starting a new journey may not be so hard Or maybe it's already
begun. There are many worlds, but they share the same sky;
One sky, One destiny"
She then smiled knowing she finally completed her letter she picked up a small
green tinted bottle and rolled to the paper up and put it inside with care not
to ruin it. Once inside the bottle she took the cork for the bottle and put it
inside a bit but not enough that it couldn't be opened. She then walked down
to the waters of the beach and set the bottle in the water and watched it
drift off hopefully soon to reach the one it was for.
Kairi remembered the first time she sent a letter in a bottle. Her friend was
there, urging her to hurry up so they wouldn't be late. Heck, at that time she
could not even think of his name. "S-s-s" She murmured, tears welling up at
the stutter. That was the start of his name, which was four letters. Suddenly
she gasped.
She was here, at the beach. Kairi gasped and her goose bumps bristled at the
cold breeze that wafted out from the ocean. The note in her hand flapped like
a bird with clipped wings. It wanted to fly. In the air, wait, air? Letting
it out of the cold sweat in her palm, the note flapped like a bird, until it
disappeared into the clouds above. Kairi smiled, feeling the swollen clouds
drop a few crystalline raindrops on her cheeks. If the boy, Soar, or something
got it. Maybe he would remember. Remember a little Island were dream began.
