I've had this story in my head for a while but finally wrote something down today. This is just a test. I'm unsure if I should begin it this way or start it somewhere else and it also depends if I can continue it. I haven't written anything in a long time and I'm still searching for my writing style.
If I am to continue this it will have a lot of the quests that are in the game such as the Dark Brotherhood and Mages Guild quest lines. The Main quest would also be included as well as how my character got into prison to meet the emperor. Reviews and critiques are welcome.
Summary:
An Argonian by the name of Pure-Heart is left orphaned when his parents are taken by the Leyawiin guards. He swims to the Imperial City where he befriends a young Imperial thief. They go through many adventures together when they are pursued through the streets of the Imperial City by Hieronymus Lex, their lives saved from a pack of wolves by a Bosmer, and learning how to use a blade from a mild tempered Dunmer. Their simple way of life becomes complicated, however, when Pure-Heart's Imperial friend falls in love with a girl who is the prodigy of the Mage's Guild and saves her father from a Necromancer.
Prologue
Pure-Heart. His name was Pure-Heart. He barely heard it from his mother's screams as she and his father were taken away. The last thing he heard from his mother was to run. On instinct he ducked under the Leyawiin guards and bolted back toward the entrance of the city. They were closing the gates and he had guards on hot pursuit. He braced himself as he leapt through the doors before they shut with a resounding bang. He had barely escaped with his tail as he hit the ground with his hands and rolled to his feet.
The young Argonian glanced up at the walls of the city to see the guards at the towers before he was running again. At the sight of water, he dashed for it, and swam as fast as he could. His ears were numb of the guard's yells to catch him, but when he heard the whistle of arrows through the air he dove to the bottom of the river and swam faster to put as much distance between himself and the city of Leyawiin.
It was the day he and his family moved from Black Marsh and it was the day he got his name. But it was also his last day with his parents. He never saw or heard from them again.
