Plot – Ron and Hermione's POV as they get prepared for Bill and Fleur's wedding.
Hermione's POV
Staring into the mirror I couldn't help but feel very happy with myself. The dress i had brought really was a excellent choice. The Lilac coloured dress really shown her of in ways that she thought she never could. Her hair was sleek and shiny, not a single curl was visible, and she hoped to all that is good and holy the same could be said for those looking at the back of her head. She looked out the window, seeing the garden, now set up for the wedding she couldn't help but think how beautiful it all looked. She couldn't see the dance floor but she knew there was to be one, and this both excited her and worried her. She was a good dancer, in fourth year she had been the main attraction of the ball, but memories of that night were so bittersweet. But now she had a feeling this night was going to be different; she would get her dance with Ronald Weasley. She had come too far to let it slip from her grasp now; not on what could be the very last peaceful day in her young life – with the great approaching shadow on the horizon.
"You ready?" Ginny's voice came from behind her, she looked beautiful in her bridesmaid dress. Hermione smiled and nodded. The wedding as about to start, and she would be seeing Ron soon, she hoped that Ron liked her dress, but most off all she hoped that all her dreams of the two of them haven't been deluding herself into thinking that he liked her back. She knew he would never have the nerve to ask her himself, and so she planned to do it herself, she would wait late into the night after he had hopefully had some butter beer – desperate she knew, but she didn't dare ask him when he was completely himself. Grabbing her bag, which she carried with her everywhere these days, in case it was needed. She walked out the door and down the stairs, hoping that it was going to be a good night.
Ron's POV
Tonight's the night, he knew it. Tonight was the night he told her, had to be the night. Ron Weasley sat in the garden shed, his brothers; Bill, Charlie, Fred and George were all with him, hiding from the women in the house. Ron's best friend Harry also stood with them, all six of them were dressed smartly in dress robes.
"So Ron" Fred asked "Going to do anything about your little bookworm tonight?" he laughed, as did everyone. Ron shot a look at Harry who stopped at once. Ron looked out the window "maybe" he muttered, and the sounds of cheers burst out into the air, Fred and Geroge practically grabbed him and shook him violently "Its about time, you've only been waiting what, 2 years" Fred laughed
"3 I'm guessing" George commented
"You know, this might not even be Ron" Fred laughed
"Yeah a imposter, trying to steal his darling bookworm"
"but whom"
Harry looked like he was going to say something, but Ron reading his mind gave him the "I swear to god if you mention his name today I jam your wand so far up your arse we'll see just how connected your wand is connected to Voldemort because with any look he'll be smelling you for years" look, and surprisingly Harry seemed to get the message, well he got a message. The name Viktor Krum would not be mentioned today, at any point, anyone who did mention him would be punished. Fred and George was now trying to convince Charlie to somehow add Vicky's name into the best man speech. Thankfully he said no.
"So you really going to do something about Hermione tonight?" Harry asked, signalling him to walk out the shed, together they walked across the garden.
"I have to don't I, just think about what were about to do, It's getting to the point where its now or never.
Harry was about to reply when Mrs. Weasley's shrill shout made them both jump in fright, without a second thought they raced back to the house.
