"Ari…Ariadne?" Arthur's voice was hesitant from just to her left. She picked her head up off the desk, waking from a pleasant, unplanned nap. She'd been dreaming of…what had she been dreaming of? She frowned. Dreams were so forgettable. It had been a great dream…about what, she didn't know.

"What were you dreaming about?" Arthur asked.

"I can't remember," Ariadne mumbled, rubbing her eyes.

Arthur's eyebrows knitted together. "You were saying…never mind." He sat on the edge of her desk, fingering his totem in one hand, looking through drawings of tall, futuristic buildings and classical parks. "Nice," he said quietly.

"Eh," Ariadne shrugged. "They're alright."

"You're so hard on yourself." Arthur frowned. "You really shouldn't be."

"I made it into a city, in the dream…but the structures kept collapsing. I need to focus a lot more than this. I kind of fell asleep, though."

"It's…it's fine. You just…surprised me. You were talking in your sleep."

"What did I say?" Ariadne said, kind of intrigued.

"Um. Not much." Arthur grimaced uncomfortably. "You were talking about the inception."

"Oh. That's boring. But it was a really good dream, I know that. The inception isn't exactly a great memory for me."

"Well, you were really only talking about one part."

"Which part?" Ariadne frowned and then remembered. "Oh…"

"Yeah." Arthur stood and shifted his weight back and forth.

"How much did I say?" Ariadne asked.

The usually in-control point man avoided her gaze. "You said…you said my name. A lot. Then you said, 'What's happening?' and 'They're still looking at us,'. Just like you really did."

"Hell. Arthur…" Ariadne stood up slowly. "I…I…"

"I dream about it too."

Ariadne fell silent.

"Well, I don't really dream about that specifically…I just dream about you in general. You…and me. Like this." Arthur leaned down to her, pressing his lips softly against hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck, throwing herself fully into the kiss.

Arthur pulled away slowly as their breath ran out. "Ariadne…do you want to go out with me?"

Ariadne nodded and pulled his face back down to hers.

The door to the warehouse banged open, startling them apart. "Oh," Eames' voice was light. "Finally." The door closed again.
