Cookies
"Where is it?"
"Where's what?"
"The cookie."
"What cookie?"
"The cookie. You know, the big double chocolate chunk one with my name on it?"
Everyone in the break room stared at Catherine like she had two heads.
"Was there ever really a cookie or are you just bored with your life and decided to play this little game during break hour?" Nick asked, glancing up from the watch battery that was evidently to big to fit in his waterproof Darth Vader watch he had picked up at Best Buy before shift.
Catherine just glared before protesting, "Yes! Someone stole the cookie from the cookie jar. Was it you?" She pointed at Sara.
"Uh, no." The brunette replied before turning her attention back to her butterscotch pudding.
"Was it you?" Catherine turned on Nick.
"No. But Cath, may the force be with you in finding out who did."
Rolling her eyes, she rounded on a magazine-reading Greg.
"How about you? I know you love double chocolate chunk."
"Actually, I enjoy double chocolate chip. Not chunk. And yes, there is a difference."
"I know there is!" She snapped before stalking over to Warrick. "It was you, wasn't it?"
"Sorry Cath, but I prefer cake. Cookies aren't all that appetizing to me."
"Alright everyone, break's over. I've got you're assignments right here." Spinning on her heel, Catherine stared incredulously at her boss, who was absentmindedly glancing over his papers while biting off a piece of her cookie.
"Argh!" She shrieked before stomping out of the room. Grissom stared after her while everyone else looked up to see what was going on.
"Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?" Greg chuckled.
"Grissom stole the cookie from the cookie jar." Nick replied, causing everyone but Grissom to begin laughing along with Greg.
Grissom just looked confused, before muttering "What did I miss?"
