Gem: Totally and utterlly random. It's been a stressful two days and this is what my mind cooks up. I claim ownership to the first sentence and Ruby cracking up until she cried (based on real life). Nothing else is mine.
"Oh, I wish I were a tomato," Cinna sang as he prepared breakfast for the rest of the hideout. "I wish I were an Oscar Mayer wiener."
"Make up yer mind what you want to be," Marcus said as he came into the room.
Random singing normally happened on days like these. The day after everyone decided to explode their emotions on each other. Zidane had stalked off to go kill as many monsters as he could; Blank was off hunting for potion ingredients; Ruby was off shopping; Cinna had cooked a mass amount of food and was in the process of preparing more; and he and Baku had decided to have a sword fight in the front room. Baku had lost quite badly but it did improve both of their spirits.
But then again, the current song was very random and making him laugh. Apparently those were the only two lines to the song though. Marcus had to admit that he was curious to the rest of the troupe's reactions when they returned from their various 'trips.'
Ruby was the first to return and immediately starting laughing. Marcus gave her a look and asked if she was okay. Nodding while tears streamed down her face, she headed off to her room. Blank came back soon after her and raised an eyebrow at Cinna before plopping down at the table and burying his head in his arms. About ten minutes later Baku came in, gave Cinna a strange look and walked back out. Another ten minutes passed before Zidane finally showed up covered in monster gore and started to head to the shower.
"Um Cinna, why would you want to be a tomato?"
