UPDATE MARCH 1ST-I forgot to mention I wrote this a lonnnnngggg time ago, so if it sucks please forgive me. There will be OOCness, and a lot of other messed up shit that will probably get you guys really pissed at me. If I get enough pissed homies, I'll re-write the story as best I can.
First GX story, yay! c: I love kidnapping people, sorry, I just can't help myself! o3o But, the main protagonists of Yu-Gi-Oh! getting kidnapped seems to be extremely popular, so here I am writing one for the public enjoyment. :D
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! GX at all. If I did, both Jesse x Jaden and Zane x Aster would be canon. I know Jesse x Jaden is some-what canon but I hate Alexis, considering she's a pretty much useless character.
Warning(s): This fic is T rated for language and slight violence. However, the rating can go up in certain chapters depending on what that chapter contains. I'll warn you first, I swear!
Enjoy!
It's funny how a happy moment seems to end within the snap of a finger, but a sad moment seems to last till the end of our lives. Perhaps this is because one, we expect to last, and the other, we expect to never happen.-Me
Takeshi Homura let out a growl. He'd been angered to no end when that childish duelist had beaten him. How he'd celebrated and hugged his friends, a cheerful grin on his face. No bragging words had been said, yes, but the very thought of someone beating him in something made his blood pressure rise along with a snarl rumble from his throat.
Jaden Yuki.
That had been the very name of that blasted duelist, the same one who'd laughed so heartily when his life-points had reached the number every duelist had grown to despise and hate. Zero. And that brunette had played it off, like it was just a match. Perhaps to the one who always wins, it was simply that. Another trophy to be displayed on the countless shelves. Someone so prideful didn't deserve to be such a famous duelist, someone others looked up too.
For awhile now, he'd been plotting revenge. He'd been broken when he'd lost that duel. So he'd break Jaden.
An evil smile spread across his lips, which currently held a cigarette in between them. Stepping on the cancer stick with his feet to put it out, the man stood up and headed for the house which contained his target: Jaden Yuki.
"Wow Jess! This is really cool!" Jaden exclaimed, looking at the video game his friend had brought over in awe and admiration.
Jesse laughed as he turned the plastic steering wheel, "Thanks!"
The two were so engrossed with each other that they didn't notice someone spying on them. It was a man, probably 10 years older than both of them (which made him about 25), almost pressing his face into the dripping glass of Jaden's window. It didn't help that the rain falling down from the sky blurred any version they had of the outside, though a human being's face was easy to make out, blurry or not.
"Hmm, interesting." The man muttered to himself, watching the way the two boys interacted.
It was far to close to just be friends, so at the very least these two were best friends. A smirk crossed the man's lips. Or lovers. At this welcoming thought, a different plan popped into the man's brain. He knew that one of the best ways to break a person, was to break someone they loved. And he knew just the way to do that.
His thoughts were broken when both boys stood up, responding to the yell of 'Pizza!' that came from the woman-presumably Jaden's mother- from downstairs. Both grinned at each other before exiting the room, but not shutting the door. A few moments later, they were back in the room, this time with paper plates with pepperoni pizza on top of them.
Ignoring the obvious rumbling in his stomach, the man wasn't the least bit surprised when they shared a kiss before eating. They were obviously close, so them being a couple wasn't surprising. On the contrary; this would make his job far easier for him. All he needed to do was wait for the perfect moment, and gain both young duelists's trust. Then, he could strike.
According to what he'd heard, Jaden was pretty new around here. That would make pretending to be some sort of neighbor or something far easier like a plumber, someone who could actually set foot into this house. His targets had finished eating but didn't go downstairs to get more or put the plates back. No, wait, the blue-haired one was leaving. Though this confused the man, it made his form of attack easier.
He dropped down from his perch (he'd had something similar to a cushion waiting below) and watched an un-suspecting Jesse leave. They were both only boys, but they also were-as hard as it was to say-good duelists and could probably beat him anytime they wanted. He'd need help from someone who hates both of them.
As he thought this, he remembered that Jaden was known for having some spoiled rich kid-Chazz was his name- as a rival. Maybe he'd want to get back at Jaden, considering God knows how many times that boy has beaten him.
Due to Chazz's well-known popularity, it wasn't hard to find his phone number. All the man had to do now was dial the phone and ask for assistance. Even if Chazz said no, there was plenty of others who'd want revenge against the esteemed Jaden Yuki. On the outside, he was worshiped as a hero. But on the inside, everyone hated him. He was the exact opposite of what they expected out of a duelist.
"Hello? Chazz Princeton speaking."
Though the man was surprised Chazz even responded himself versus having a butler or something answer it, he quickly recovered and got straight to the point.
"Would you like revenge on Jaden Yuki?" He asked, smiling to himself in anticipation.
"No." Came the obviously angry, but cool, reply. This kid was used to being under pressure.
Before the man could continue his conversation, the phone disconnected. He'd hung up? Takeshi shrugged, knowing Chazz wasn't his last resort. He'd heard of another duelist, one who was only a few years older than Jaden, who really hated the brunette. According to his memory, his name was Frost. He also had some sort of thing for both Jaden and his boyfriend, which might be useful when it came to luring him to help.
What the man didn't count on, was that Chazz immediately dialed Jaden's number after he hung up to warn him.
XoXoXoXoXoXo
"Chazz?"
"Listen, Jaden. A guy just phoned me, and he asked me if I wanted revenge on you."
"You didn't say yes, did you?!"
"No I didn't. But he still sounds hell-bent on getting revenge, whoever he is."
"Well, I'm at ho-Oh no...Jess!"
"What about him?"
"He went back to his house to go get his change of clothes I think."
"I'll be there in a few minutes"
"Got it, and thanks Chazz."
"...No problem."
XoXoXoXo
Jaden dropped the phone on the floor, ignoring the worrisome-thud it made when it hit solid ground. He yanked on his shoes, which had been placed by his door step, and quickly ran downstairs, two steps at a time. When he arrived at the bottom, his mother immediately began saying things like 'You need a coat', but Jaden just flew out the door, leaving his mother to shake her head.
He ran down the sidewalk, mumbling a 'gomensai' or 'sorry' for the obvious English speakers that he was constantly bumping into. Chazz had warned him only a few minutes after Jesse had left, so at most the blunette should be leaving or having left. It made him feel slightly better, though it wasn't very comforting knowing that there was some guy who wanted revenge on him, and therefore would probably hurt Jesse as well.
Chazz had his back and that was also something that made him feel better, but once again, knowing that his best friend was in possible-no, absolute danger, made his heart beat faster than it had at the toughest of his duels. He silently prayed for Jesse to be safe and sound, that they could go through this together. When someone wanted revenge on him before, it had been Frost and he'd used very frank techniques.
Unlike this man (or so Jaden assumed), Frost knew the two were lovers and had purposely seduced a disgusted Jesse in front of Jaden. At first the brunette had just been disgusted with Frost. But then, the black-haired duelist started being a bit to rough on Jesse, and pained cries rang out moments later. This was where Jaden began panicking, begging for Frost to stop.
The reply to this was 'trade places', to which Jesse quickly denied and insisted Frost leave Jaden alone. Though the act had warmed Jaden's heart, it didn't take away from the aching in it after Frost had been defeating and seemingly disappeared. Jesse had been silent and solemn during the weeks that he'd recovered. And though he himself had gotten a form of torture, his best friend had it worst.
"Please don't let him go through that again..." Jaden mumbled quietly to himself, brown eyes set on the path ahead.
There was one flicker of hope in his heart. If the duelist who wanted revenge on him, perhaps all sights would be set on him and Jesse would be left alone. But just about everyone knew the blue-haired boy was Jaden's best friend, so it was a slim chance. Finally, Jesse's house came into view. Next to it was a dark alley way, something Jesse had told Jaden to always avoid.
But Jesse could be in that dark abyss, and Jaden needed to find out if he was or not.
Running into it, he felt himself bump into a chest that wasn't bigger than his own. Looking up, he saw Jesse's form staring down at him. Jaden sighed in relief and stood up, brushing dust and dirt off of his clothes. At first he thought he was in for a mouthful of lecture, but this never happened. Jesse looked concerned as to why Jaden was here.
"Jay, I was coming back." said Jesse with a slightly irritated sigh.
"Jesse, listen." Jaden began, "There's a guy who wants revenge on me and I thought he might try to hurt you, so I came too..."
The brunette blushed and didn't finish his sentence, knowing how odd the word 'rescue' sounded coming from his lips. It was usually him that needed the rescuing. Both from Alexis's constantly begging him to go out with her and from criminals who happened to have a thing for him. The list went on and on, but right now Jaden was still worried about the revenge-seeking man being nearby.
When he heard metal moving, Jaden knew he was right. That was, until a whole gang of men stepped out. Each wore yellowed grins on their faces, while certain ones held guns or pipes. The guy in the middle held nothing, so he was probably the leader. Malicious grin still on his face, he approached the now backing away young duelists.
"You must be Jesse's little friend, right?" He said with mock curiousness, casually touching Jaden's hair in a 'caring' manner.
"Stay away from us!" Jaden exclaimed while he slapped the man's hand away, making sure it left a mark.
Surprisingly, this neither angered nor upset the man. It seemed to do motivate him if anything.
"A gem and a chocolate." One of the men said with something known as lust in his voice. "Both so sweet."
Knowing they were the ones being referred too, Jaden and Jesse tried to run away, but both failed when the other men blocked their pathway of freedom. Was there anyway out? No, it didn't look like it. Everything seemed blocked or cut off, with these possible rapists advancing on them every second.
"Leave them alone and you might live another day." A very commanding voice spoke from a darkened part of the alley way.
Hoping this wasn't just false hope, Jesse and Jaden eagerly looked towards the voices' source, to discover a young man who couldn't have been older than thirty. Was he a cop? He wasn't dressed like one, but he did have a gun.
The man beckoned the boys to his side, to which they both complied to, but a crook's hand remained on Jaden's. The young brunette tugged at the offending limb, but nothing happened. He was far to weak.
"Let Jaden go!" Jesse yelled, balling up his fists and preparing to get the his best friend back on his own, but the mysterious man stopped him.
"Let me handle this." The man said with a faint smile before taking out a gun.
Jaden looked frightened out of his mind, due to the fact that a gun was pointed at him, and Jesse looked surprised and slightly scared as well. Why was their supposed savior pointing a gun at one of them? Was he really a savior, or did he just want to give them false hopes? Luckily, it was the former and a sleeping dart exited the gun instead of a piece of lead.
The criminal holding Jaden dropped to the ground and the brunette quickly darted over to Jesse's side, sharing a quick smile with him before letting his expression become serious. The criminals seemed fazed by the act of the sleeping dart, and disappeared among the trash and other disgusting things. Quickly turning towards the odd man, both said a 'Thank you!' and gave a bow.
The man chuckled. "No need to be so formal with me." Both boys nodded their heads.
Jaden and Jesse turned their backs to him, walking towards the welcoming light that would get them out of the danger zone. Or so they thought. Hands snatched them from behind, arms yanked behind their backs.
"After all, we're best friends, aren't we, Jaden?" A familiar voice whispered in the brunette's ear.
Startled, Jaden recognized the voice as Frost. Chazz knew Frost's voice, so it couldn't have been Frost himself that called. Was the older duelist working with someone this time? If so, he wanted revenge more than usual, and that was never a good thing. All of a sudden, he heard a scared-sounding whimper, and recognized it as Jesse.
Turning his head to look at his best friend worriedly, he discovered that Jesse looked extremely pale and unsettled. It made sense. Frost had brutally (though thankfully not completely) sexually abused him, and he was also forced to watch the same thing happen to Jaden. The brunette had to admit, he wasn't surprised when he noticed his knees clacking together.
"I've been waiting for you, y'know." Frost's voice ghosted over his ear again, sending Jaden into a fits of fearful shivering.
I know, not the best place to add a cliffy. But my stomachs bothering me, I'm also hungry, and my family is gonna be waking up soon, so I've gotta get some fire under my butt and make like a tree.
I don't care if you flame me or not, sorry. Your comment just gets deleted and laughed at. However if your comment contains constructive harsh words, I'm OK with that so long as it's true and you're not just making stuff up.
Alright, my stomach feels horrid right now, like I'm about to puke, so I'll see you all later!
Please R&R, and don't forget to review! Please? I'm not feeling well and it would brighten my day.
