A/N: This is kind of strange but I'm stressed about the mile and I thought…I'd make Chouji feel the pain too…. oops?
Reassurance
I quietly sat in my room, nervous as hell. It was another school year, which meant I was required to do the mile run...again.
I'm sorry! Let me introduce myself...I'm Akimichi Chouji. I'm relatively smart, but not know for my good looks, just my eating habits.
I'm not skinny like the coolest guy at school, Uchiha Sasuke.
Why is it that society focuses on our looks and not our personalities? I'm nice but everyone mocks me because I'm husky yet Sasuke's cold and aloof. Only...people love him because of his great muscular body...anyway back to the topic!
The dreaded mile! What's sad is that I have gym second semester and it's only November.
Should I actually be worrying about it yet? It's embarrassing but I think I can trust you. I asked my mom about it and she offered to run with me at the park two to three times a week. That helped...but I wanted some more reassurance so I went to my best friend, Nara Shikamaru.
We both sat down and I poured my heart out...
"Chouji-kun! Why didn't you tell me sooner?" asked Shikamaru sadly.
Now this is where it gets freaky...you see...over the course of the last two months I've been questioning Shikamaru's sexuality. Why? You may ask. Every time I see him, instead of high fiving me like other guys, he hugs me and gropes my butt! Guys just don't do that...
I also think I may be gay too...but I won't admit it until he does!
"I don't know..." I replied. Maybe I should have gone to someone else?
"Chouji-kun...you know I'll help you. I care about you a lot so don't hesitate to tell me any future problems." Shikamaru said smoothly. Now that's what I call strange.
Every time I blinked he seemed to get closer...
"Meet me after school Chouji-koi..." Shikamaru whispered in my ear hotly. He shocked me the most when he licked my cheek...
I watched him walk away and I felt better about the mile. It was a long way off and until then I'd spend time with my Shikamaru-kun...
