A/N: Hey so this is just a happy one shot about Nine and Ella. In this they're only three years apart. Au the Mogs never attacked Lorien and the kids grew up on Lorien instead of earth. R/R please! It makes my day!
Leia = six
Joe = eight
Stanley = nine
John = four
STANLEY'S POV:
I wiped my palms on the front of my pants. I can't believe I'm doing this. Up until senior year, I never thought I'd be this guy. But that was before I met her. I raise my hand and knock on the door, just like I have so many times before. But this time is nothing like it usually is. Today will change my world forever. He opens the door.
"Ella is not home Stanley." He says coldly to me. He never liked me. I can't blame him. If a guy like me was dating my only daughter, I'd hate him. But today I need him to at least accept me, if not like me.
"Hello Sir, how are you today?" I ask him.
"Sir? That's new. I'm fine."
Okay, time to kill the small talk. I need to do this before I lose my nerve.
"Sir I'm here to ask you something. I would like to have your blessing to marry your daughter." I blurt out. For a moment his face falls, then he scowls at me. That cannot be good.
"No." I feel my heart drop to my stomach. What?
"Excuse me?" I stutter.
"You may not marry Ella! I don't even want you dating her, much less marrying her! I'm the chief police officer. You think I don't know what you get up to? Even if I wasn't a cop, this whole city knows about you! The drinks, the gambling, the girls! I warned her against you, but she refused to listen. She though you changed, that you were different."
"I am different. Ella, she changed me. I love her." He rolls his eyes and laughs.
"I'm sure you say that every time. You "love" these girls, when really you're just waiting for the next girl to catch you eye. Ella's just a kid, and you're much older than her."
"I'll admit, I was like that, and I regret what I did to all the girls I dated. But Ella is amazing. And I know that she's young. But she's a freshman in college; I'm only three years older than her. I know how much you mean to her, so I knew that I to get you blessing. Please Sir. I love her with everything that I am. I know you're scared to lose your little girl, but so am I. She makes me a better person. She is my world, and she's my future. I can't imagine life without Ella by my side." He just stares at me.
"I didn't think you were capable of saying so many words that actually meant anything."
"Please Sir, I love her more than life it's self. If you want me to change, I will if it means that can marry your daughter."
"Fine, you seem to have proven here that you love her. You have my blessing. But I'm not going to be an easy father-in law."
"I never would imagine it any different Sir." I say with the biggest grin on my face imaginable. This is the best day of my life.

I walk hand in hand with Ella through the woods.
"I think you're lost Stanley." She says laughing.
"I'm not lost darling, I know it's around here somewhere. You'll love the waterfall." I take another turn and I can hear the water. I check my phone. John texted me:
Operation get my best friend a wife so he can quit bothering me and I can spend more time with my girlfriend Leia is a go.
That's not what the mission is called, I text back.
Fine, operation Stan the man is a go.
"Who are you texting?" El asks. I put my phone in my pocket.
"Just John. You know he can only function so long without talking to me." I say. We make another turn and we arrive at the waterfall.
"Oh," Ella gasps, "it's so beautiful."
"Not nearly as beautiful as you." I turn her to me.
"Ella, since the day I saw you in the halls I knew that I needed to date you. Since our first date I knew that I loved you. Since the first time I opened up to you about my past, I knew I wanted to marry you." I get down on one knee and pull a little black box out of my pocket. She gasps.
"Ella Lauren Daniels, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
"Yes! Oh my Lore, yes!" She says jumping up and down. I stand in kiss her. Then I put the ring on her finger.
"As much as I hate break up this moment, I can't sit in a tree much longer." John calls from behind us. He hugs Ella and congratulates us. This is the best day of my life.

"What if she doesn't show up?" I ask John as we get ready.
"She'll show okay. Look man, she loves you. I've never seen anyone look at anyone like she does you."
"Hey we need to get out there!" Joe calls to us.
We walk out of the bathroom and my hands are shaking as we walk towards the gazebo. Ella wanted an outdoor wedding and she couldn't have picked a better day. The sky is blue and there's a slight breeze. The weather matches my mood, happy. It's the only way describe it, but even that doesn't do it justice. We stand in front of the gazebo for a few minutes. The bridesmaids walk down the aisle. I look over at John and see his eyes locked on his longtime high school sweetheart Leia. Then an old fashioned horse drawn carriage pulls up and out steps Ella and he dad. One glance at her and I can feel tears well up in my eyes. She looks stunning in a simple, strapless, wedding gown. She practically flows down the aisle. I smile as she approaches. She is everything I've ever wanted and more. She is more than I ever thought a guy like me deserves. I shake her father's hand but my eyes don't leave her. We say our vow then exchange the rings.
The officiate says, "You may kiss the bride. But I'm one step ahead of him my arms are around Ella and I kiss her. I never want to let go but we pull apart when John nudges me. I smile sheepishly and Ella and I walk hand in hand down the aisle. I look over at Ella, my wife now, I she's breathtaking. This is the best day of my life.

"One last big push." The doctor tells her. She lets out a scream and grips my hand so hard I think it's going to break. But I don't care; I just hate to see her in pain like this.
"It's a girl." The doctor tells us smiling and he hands my daughter to Ella. A girl. I have a little girl. I look down at my beautiful wife and baby girl. She lifts her arms and I take the precious bundle from her.
I say, "She's perfect." My voice barely above a whisper.
"What do you want to name her?" I ask Ella, my eyes not leaving my daughter.
"I was thinking we could name her Cassandra after your mom. Cassie for short."
Cassie, "it's perfect." I look into Cassie's eyes, "hi Cassie, welcome to the world." She has her mother's looks. When she grows up she will be just as amazingly gorgeous as Ella. I need to buy myself a shotgun. I look at my wife her eyes heavy but still bright and happy. Then I look back down to Cassie.
"I'm a dad." I grin. This is the best day of my life.
