Kirby: We're back!

Me: I told you there'd be a sequel!

Mario: So now what? Didn't we lose all of our memories of the last story?

Me: Well, yeah. It's not really a sequel, but a recreation with a better story, bigger cast, and some continuity. Oh yeah, this doesn't change the fact that you can vote for the new story. Now, E. Gadd disclaimer!

Chapter 1: Thinking With Portals

Hands exist to do two things. They have the power to create, and the power to destroy. While the two purposes seem different, they aren't usually found too far apart.

Tabuu pulled Master Hand away so he could have a better look at his creation. His portal was nearly complete. Only, it was missing something. Tabuu frowned in frustration, wondering what he would need to do in order to complete his plans. Then, he had an idea. His frown quickly changed to an evil smile.

Bowser laughed loudly as he watched Kamek put Princess Peach inside of a cage. "My plan is perfect!" He bragged. "Those pesky plumbers will never defeat me this time!"

"Mario will stop you!" Peach yelled.

"Not this time. I've gone over every single possible way Mario could defeat me, and made my plan perfect!" Bowser smiled at his genius. "He will never even reach me before he is killed!"

Just then, the door was broken down with a crash. Behind it was Mario and Luigi. "Mario!" Peach screamed happily. "I knew you could do it!"

"Hey, I also-" Luigi began, but Bowser interrupted.

"HOW DID YOU GET PAST MY MINIONS!?" He yelled furiously.

"It was easy." Mario said. "Maybe you should think your plans through a bit before using them."

"I'LL KILL YOU BOTH!" Bowser was enraged! He charged at the two with all of his strength.

"Look out!" Mario shouted as he jumped out of the way. But Luigi didn't react quick enough, and Bowser nearly hit him, but something appeared between the two. A purple sphere floated in the air. In an instant, both Luigi and Bowser were gone.

Everybody in the room was silent. Mario, Peach, and Kamek all looked at the spot where the two had been.

When Luigi and Bowser were conscious again, they looked around. The two of them were in two glass cubes on separate sides of the room. That was a relief, because otherwise they would no doubt be fighting.

"Hello, and welcome to the Aperture Science computer enrichment center. We hope your brief detention in the relaxation vault has been a pleasant one." The voice was a woman's, and it sounded mechanical. "We are ready to begin the test. Before we start however, I understand that the two of you, Luigi Mario and King Bowser Koopa, have a history of attempting to kill each other. For your safety, and the safety of others, please remember that in order for proper results, teamwork is of most importance in this test." Luigi and Bowser looked at each other angrily as the mechanical voice continued speaking. "Luigi Mario, please refrain from dumping Bowser Koopa into a pool of lava. Bowser Koopa, please refrain from setting Luigi Mario on fire with your breath. The portals will open in three, two, one."

A purple, oval shaped mass appeared on the wall of each cube. Two more were next to each other outside of them. Luigi and Bowser stepped through the portals, finding themselves outside the glass. Instantly, Bowser opened his mouth to use his fire breath.

"I forgot to inform you that any example of violence either of you show toward each other will result in the termination of both of you." Bowser closed his mouth, and looked around the room.

"Who are you?"

"I am GLaDOS, and I created a test designed for the use of a new type of portal. You two will be the test subjects."

"Portal?" Luigi repeated, confused.

Mario walked cautiously toward the mansion. He had the horrible feeling that a ghost would show up and capture him again, which is why he rarely came here, but he knew that the only person who could help him save Luigi was Professor Elvin Gadd. He was the person who had invented his F.L.U.D.D. machine.

When Mario reached the front door, he knocked on the door. He waited for a couple seconds, then he knocked again. He didn't know, but someone was watching him. Suddenly, a person fell from overhead, and landed next to Mario. Mario turned to face Shadow Mario, a translucent and blue creature that resembled him.

"Bowser jr?" Mario asked, knowing the true identity of the clone. "What are you doing here?" Shadow Mario did not answer, but instead he raised his magic paintbrush, and shot a blob of yellow paint at Mario. Mario quickly dodged the attack.

The plumber shot three fireballs at his enemy, but he dodged them all. Shadow Mario launched red goop at Mario, burning him.

"Argh! Take this!" Mario jumped into the air and punched Shadow Mario, sending him flying into the ground. When Mario touched the ground, his attacker had become Bowser jr. again.

"Ow!" The tiny koopa prince yelled. "Why do you always defeat me!?" Just then, the door to the mansion opened, and out stepped E. Gadd.

"Hello there Mario, Bowser jr." The professor greeted. "How can I help you two?"

"Hello Professor Gadd!" Mario greeted back. "Wait...how do you know Bowser jr?"

"I was the one who gave him that paintbrush, after all."

"E. Gadd!" Yelled Bowser jr. "You've got to help me! My father disappeared in a portal!"

"And Luigi!" Continued Mario. "I need your help to find him!"

"And my father!"

E. Gadd nodded his head, needing no further explanation. "Come in. I think I have something that can help." He led the two inside the mansion into his lab. As they went through the building, Mario wondered why E. Gadd trusted Bowser jr. with such a dangerous device as the paintbrush.

"This is a portal device I invented a while ago...I can't remember why though." He pressed a button on a machine that looked like some sort of gun, and it shot out a purple portal. "I can't guarantee where you'll end up, but the way I see it, it really is your only chance."

Mario and Bowser jr. stepped up to the portal, getting ready to enter it. Then, they stepped through at the same time.

Me: EPIC CONTINUITY!

Bowser jr: Where will we end up? 0-0

Me: Nobody knows! Review to help this sequel be even better than the original! And remember to vote for the new story.

Mario: This again?

Me: Well, I need to know. It's either the Pokemon story starring the legendaries, or the My Little Pony Pokemon crossover following the canon story with Pokemon in it. So yeah, review!
