"Waaaaaaaah !" Len cried running to a little girl who was wearing a cute white bow on the top of her head." WAAAAAAAH ! I GAT A BOO BOO RIN WAAAAAH!" Len cried.
From seeing tears and snot rushing down his face Rin simply heaved a sigh and grabbed the aid kit she always brings with her."You shouldn't be so clumsy !"Rin scolded while tending to Len's wounds. It was just a scratch he got from his left knee from tripping on one of the seesaws on the playground.
"I'M *sniff* SO..*sniff*WWY RIN*sniff*...*sniff*"Len whimpered while trying to suck up the snot pouring down his face."
"It's okay.. just be more careful next time! Geez I'm already running out of band aids because of you" Rin said
"Okay… *sniff* Rin…*sniff* I'm sowwy" Len said while brushing the tears off his eyes.
"You already said sorry you silly monkey!"Rin said with a beaming smile coming across her face.
Before Len could continue the conversation the teacher interrupted them.
"Len!" The kinder teacher exclaimed with worry .
"Are you okay?!"
"Yes miss *sniff * I'M F-FINE" Len replied trying to cover up the fact that he cried his eyes out
"Are you sure?"she questioned
" Yes miss sniff I'm fine because Rin*sniff* took care of my boo boo…"Len said trying to give credit to Rin.
"Oooh great job Rin! You took care of Len's injury! 5 stars for you kiddo!" the teacher said enthusiastically.
"*Gasps* Thank you miss!" Rin said with another beaming smile.
"You should become a docter one day." said the teacher
"Yeah I wanna become a docter when I grow up!" Rin exclaimed with excitement.
Rin was happy being praised and was still being praised until she heard her mother call to pick her up.
"Rin~ time to go! I stopped by and got some oranges for us to eat!" Her mother called.
"*Gasps* YAY!" she screamed with excitement.
"Bye Len. Bye miss!" She said quickly then ran straight to her mother"
RIN'S POV
"LEEEEEEEEEEEN! HURRY UP YOU LAZY ASS!" I screamed with impatience.
He always wakes up late ! Which makes us ALWAYS late for school and It's the first day of our freshman year too!
At least his gorgeous neighbor is kind enough to wait for him.
"W-WAIT RIN I'M ALMOST DONE!" he screamed.
A minute later I see him with a banana nutella sandwich jammed in his mouth with a half buttoned shirt and a loose necktie.
"Ugh fix yourself Len."" You're a mess!" I exclaimed.
"Oh , so you were checking out my top half huh." Teased Len.
"Sorry Len I'm not interested in men who don't have a six pack." I replied nonchalantly.
Len pouted in my comeback while buttoning up the rest of his shirt.
I smirked to myself as we head off to school.
When we arrived, we both saw the swarm of people on the board as proceeded towards it. I noticed on the board that Len and me aren't in the same class this year.
Which is quite uncommon. We were always classmates, we even went through the trouble of making sure that we were in the same high school.
Aaaah whatever I guess we can still eat together at lunch and chill together after school since were neighbors.
I head off to my classroom seeing the swarm of people who try to introduce themselves hoping that highschool will be different.
To my demise I see some annoying classmates I previously met in the later years of my middleschool life.
While standing at the doorway I observe them.
Neru, that gossip girl with Gumi the hyper one, making a fuss she had eye contact with some guy named Mikuo.
"HE'S TOTALLY HOT." She squealed.
"I CHECKED HIS NAME ON THE BOARD AND HE'S IN 1-C~."
1-C? I thought to myself, that's where Len is.
Then continuing my thoughts I saw the long purple haired man infront . Gakupo, the pervert reading some raunchy magazine again.
In general, everyone else seemed annoying or threatening.
Well practically I decided since I don't like most of these people, I guess I'll just sit with the least troubling people..
Am I that anti-social?
I guess my only joys is having a laugh with Len and enjoying my shift to stay at the clinic.
I begged the principal for me to split shifts with the clinic ward. He said yes when I said I didn't want the salary.
Which is very typical of the principal since he's such a cheapskate.
"U-um excuse me?"
Being interrupted from my thoughts I realized the situation I was in, still infront of the doorway.
"O-oh sorry" I said while shifting my feet away from the door.
Then I caught notice of the person, He was a mysterious boy I never saw at middleschool. He was strikingly pale but what got my attention was the bandage he had on his left eye. He probably got an infection or some bad wound.
Where I sat was in the 1st column 4th seat , wich means I'm against the
Window. Infront of me was Piko, wearing thick glasses which was concealing his eyes.
He's been wearing those thick glasses since we were Grade 2! I thought to myself
Behind me was Luka a poised girl with long hair who is known to have motherly instincts .
My left side was the window.
On my right though was the strange bandaged boy reading some book.
Against my usual anti-social instincts I actually thought of introducing myself.
When I had enough courage talk to him I softly said "Um, Hi! My names Rin Kagamine… what's yours?"
Waiting for the reply I realized.
He just ignored me.
Well okay then, he might be just annoyed or not in the mood to talk. Which is kinda like me…
Right when I unpacked all my belongings and placed them in my desk, a man with blue hair dressed in a lab coat came rushing out the door.
"Hello !I will be your homeroom teacher and your Biology teacher. I am Shion Kaito."
"Call me Kaito-Sensei!" he said enthusiastically.
"Hello Kaito-Sensei!" The students greeted.
"So since it's the first day of school, let's introduce ourselves and since I just introduced myself, it's your turn!" he said.
The first student stood up and started to welcome himself.
"Hi! I am…"
I was completely ignoring the babble of our class.
Facing the window I blankly staring at the cherry blossom tree.
I wonder how's Len's class.
Maybe he finds it boring and irritating like mine.
Maybe the opposite.
As I look at the cherry petals flowing with the wind , I noticed that I'm getting drowsy.
Feeling my eyelids lower, I decide I should take a nap.
"EXCUSE ME." the teacher said with a stern voice.
I reflexively stand up and reply "Yes Sensei?"
"Could you please introduce yourself?" he said with a crass smile I could obviously see through.
*Sighs* "Hello…. I am Rin Kaga…."
LEN'S POV
Well this year Rin and I happen to be separated this year
It's quite depressing that the only friend I have has been separated into a different class.
Or you could say the only friend who stayed by my side…
Giving a pout while entering my class, a girl bumped into me dropping my stuff and falling into the hard concrete floor. "Ouch!" I said. "AH MY LEEK!" the girl shreaked.
Standing up I gained my senses I looked at the girl.
I observed her.
She had two teal pig tails flowing until her knee.
She had big round teal eyes with thick eyelashes and she wore teal nail polish and was carrying a leek that she screamed out loud when she fell.
Then my man instincts made me suddenly notice she has quite the curves.
She was a sure looker.
Having a slight blush on my face from what I thought in my head I instantly heard an apology when she stood up.
"So-sorry" she said with a light voice.
"Ah, It's my fault too you know" I replied with one of my sweet smiles.
She smiled back with a slight blush and introduced herself.
"Hello I am Hatsune Miku!"she greeted with a cheery voice.
"Ah, I'm Kagamine Len." I said politely.
"And sorry about the leek by the way" I said feeling embarrassed
"No! It's fine. I'm sorry about your stuff though!" she replied.
"Oh it's fine" I said.
I wanted to continue our conversation until someone called her.
"Mikuuuuu! Over here!"
Heading to the direction where the voices were coming from I noticed it was a group of people trying to catch her attention.
"Ah I need to go ! Nice to meet you Len!" she said and rushed to her friends.
Seeing her silhouette run of to the hallway I think to myself what a great day to start the new scol year by meeting a cute girl!
Entering, I saw the choices where I could sit.
Seeing the seats I saw only one choice . 3rd column 2nd seat
Wow what badluck. The teacher will be eyeing on me the whole time, which means no more slacking off for me now.
Giving a sigh I approached my seat while taking notice the people around me.
On my left side was Lily a girl who is known to flirt around the teachers.
On my right side was empty from the looks of it. It was taken though because the owner placed his/her belongings on top of the table.
Behind me is Mikuo known to have the looks , the brains and the strength to match. I heard of him in middleschool although he wasn't ever in my class.
While unpacking my things I heard a loud slam from the door.
"Hello I am Haigo Meiko! But just call me Meiko-Sensei!"
"Haaaai Meiko-sensei." the crowd of students greeted.
"Okay now, I am your homeroom and English teacher."
She was pretty and I could see the way the guys were looking at her but she gave off threatening feeling for me. Like Rin.
"So let's get it over with and introduce ourselves" she said
"Hi I'm….." People started introducing themselves.
Staring at the clock waiting when lunch will start
I can't wait to talk with Rin about our classmates and who we hate/
I wonder how's her class.
I'm getting a bit drowsy,
"LEN DO NOT EVEN THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY SLACKING OFF IN MY CLASS"
Meiko-Sensei screamed.
Aaaaahhh I guess I really can't slack off.

LEN'S POV
Running with all my might straight to the cafeteria to buy my banana bread.
I'm avoiding the line and also can't live without my banana bread.
But also since Rin is so greedy with her bento boxes and never makes one for me I'm on my own.
20 meters away to the cafeteria door I see my opponents behind me, They're pretty close about 2 meters if they can catch up to me they're probably the track and field club.
7 meters away the cafeteria door and they're catching up to me.
Rin must be taking her time eating her delicious bentos.
Curse you Rin!
_RIN'S POV_
Slowly taking my time as I head up to the roof top.
I'm not that hungry yet so I'll just wait for a while and observe the view til' Len comes.
Maybe I should actually make a bento for him since he takes so long I thought to myself.
I'll try making one tomorrow!
_LEN'S POV_
Just a meter away until I noticed a few of them start to pass me. DAMMIT.
I reached the Canteen and I'm 4th in line so It's okay….ish.
Before in middles school I was always the first in line.
Maybe it's because I lounged around all day during summer that made me so loose.
Anyway I'll be first in line in a week or so.
"Not bad blondie! A member infront of me panted.
Thank you I replied with a pride.
"Why not join the club!" he asked
"I'll think about it." I replied.
I might, so that me and Rin can go home together, cause she has after school duties in the clinic.
Getting my bread and heading to the rooftop; I open the door and go in to see Rin looking at the view.
_RIN'S POV_
Hearing the creak of the door .
I turned back to see Len .
"Hey Rin" he greeted with a smile.
"Ugh Len you're covered in sweat! It's disgusting!" I'm not trying to bully him but he really was dripping in sweat.
"Sorry Rin." He said while wiping his sweat.
"And to think I waited to eat with a sweaty monkey!" I grumbled.
"HEY SWEATY MO- oh so you waited for me? You love me that much?" He teased.
"Maybe." I said turning to see a cherry red Len from my answer.
"Just kidding~ Lenny boy~."
"R-RIIIIIN! DON'T JOKE WITH MEEE." He's still cherry red as ever but more from anger not embarrassment.
"You're the one who asked the question: Do you love me that muuuch~?" I said.
"W-WEEELLL! LETS START EATING!" He said trying to change the subject.
"Mkay boss!"I replied
There was an awkward silence for 5 whole minutes.
"So R-Rin I was thinking. How's your cla-"
~DIIING DOOOOONG~
While realizing lunch break was over I gave a sigh, packed my lunchbox and said
"I shouldn't have waited for you."
"Sorry about that, but it was your choice to wait for me or not" He said with a sheepish smile across his face.
"And since you don't make me bentos~" He said although not convincing enough for me to actually make one for him.
"We should probably head back to our classrooms" I said, not wanting to be late for class.
"Oh y-yeah, after school let's talk about our classes?" He said with a disappointed ring to it.
"Okay. Sure." I said while exiting through the door.
While heading to the classroom I think to myself :
Why do I never make bento boxes for Len. He's only ever tasted my food by grabbing bites behind my back.
Thinking to myself as I approach the class door.
Maybe I should make one for him. I thought
Maybe.
_LEN'S POV_
When I finally got my delectable banana bread the bell rang as soon as I took my first bite.
Am I really that unlucky? Gosh.
Heading back to my classroom . I return to my seat and I notice that the empty seat to my right has been filled.
I notice it's Miku!
Giving a slight wave and a small smile she noticed and waved back in reply.
I really am not sure if I'm unlucky or lucky.
