A/N: Hey, I'm back with a new story and not dead. Now I am sorry that this is a new story and not an update for another but this has been stuck in my head forever. Now I hope you enjoy this story. Also for thought of you that will go who do they understand each other I don't know Ninjutsu or Magic pick which one you want to think is the reason.
"I have a mission for you two." Sarutobi Hiruzen had said to the two that had just arrived in the mission's office. One was a man in his mid-twenties who had gravity defying spiky silver hair. He wore a Jōnin Vest over a dark blue long sleeve shirt with dark blue pants. He also wore metal plated fingerless gloves and sandals. This was Kakashi Hatake, elite Jōnin of Konoha. The other was much younger; he was 11 years old with blond hair. He wore a white eye patch, with 2 strings that wrapped around his head, over his right eye. His left eye however was a onyx black. He wore dark green ¾ length shorts that stopped just below his knees and had many pockets. He also wore a dark blue, short sleeve shirt and an orange sleeveless hoodie over it. This was Naruto Uzumaki, elite Jōnin of Konoha and adopted younger brother of Kakashi. They both were wearing a blue headband with a metal plate on it with a stylised leaf; Kakashi wore his over his left eye.
"Another one, oh come on we just got back from one old man." Naruto said.
"Calm down Naruto it's just another mission and you would start complaining if you went a week without a mission." Kakashi said. Hiruzen had a small smile cross his face see the interaction of the two in front of him.
"Your client will be here momentarily." Hiruzen said. Just as he finished speaking there was a loud pop that echoed around the room and there standing in front of the two men and child was a woman in clothes that just screamed witch. The women was old not as old as Hiruzen but around 55 (Correct me if I'm wrong I did a quick sum after double checking when she was born and when Harry starts school uh… that totally isn't a spoiler) she held herself in a sophisticated manner and look towards the occupants of the room.
"That defiantly wasn't a Shunshin," Muttered Naruto under his breath.
"Ah you must be Professor Minerva McGonagall it is a pleasure to meet you, my name is Sarutobi Hiruzen, these are the two who will be taking the mission the one in the orange hoodie is Naruto and the other is Kakashi these are two of the best the village have to offer." Hiruzen introduced everyone to each other with Naruto breaking in with a 'Hi' when he was mentioned and Kakashi with a 'Yo'.
"It is nice to meet you." Minerva said respectfully as she looked over Naruto and Kakashi. 'They are both powerful I can tell that they are experienced fighters just from how they hold themselves.'
"Now the mission that you are going to do is two-fold first you will be going outside of the nations to a place called Great Britain and will try to establish good relations with the people there. Second you will be studying at a school a school called Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry where you will be learning about magic ther-" Hiruzen was explaining the mission that the two would be taking when Naruto burst into laughter showing that despite his rank that he was still eleven.
"Magic Jiji? Have you finally gone mad Magic doesn't excise." Naruto got out between his laughter but as soon as he finished that sentence Naruto's laughter stopped and he stood ramrod straight. The two men that had been looking at Naruto turned towards Minerva and saw that she had taken out a stick and was pointing it at Naruto.
"Is that enough evidence to prove that magic excises?" The Deputy Headmistress asked as she undid the spell and Naruto dropped to his hands and knees.
"Yes" Naruto said quietly as he stood back up. Hiruzen clears his throat before picking up where he left off.
"Yes, thank you for that demonstration Prof McGonagall. Now as I was saying you will be going to this school where you will learn what you can about Magic but in return you will be teaching the students about Chakra. So to achieve this you two will have different roles in the school." Naruto suddenly got a bad feeling about this as soon as he heard those words. "Kakashi you will be attending the school as a teacher while Naruto here will be attending as a student-"
"What! This is bullshit I did not graduate from the academy at the age of six and become an elite Jōnin at eleven to go back to school." Naruto yelled at Hiruzen.
"Young man, you should not be using that sort of language at your age." Minerva stated as she looked at the boy. But while she said this a few things went through her head. 'Finished school at the age of six? This boy must be a genius no wonder he has been chosen to do this but elite Jōnin at eleven I don't exactly know where that stands in there ranking but from the way he said it must be pretty high.'
"Now Minerva I must apologise for Naruto's choice of words but here we do not reprimand children who are in positions like Naruto for that as he go by a different rule than you do." Hiruzen said.
"Oh and what is that?" The Transfiguration professor asked.
"Old enough to kill, old enough to drink and smoke or do whatever you want." Kakashi said from his position speaking up for the first time since the Professor arrived.
"Within reason of course," The monkey Summoner added.
"That's barbaric and you put children though this." Minerva exclaimed in shock.
"Unfortunately yes there are days that I regret that this is how things have to be but we have no choice with how the Chakra network develops and the need for experience." Hiruzen spoke once again. Minerva made a mental note about this 'Chakra Network' but decided to ask later.
"Anyway back to the mission." Kakashi said trying to steer the conversation back on topic.
"Ah yes, you two will be attending in your respective roles. This will be a long term mission as you two will be there for the full time that it takes to finish an education there. Which is seven years before you ask," Hiruzen finished his explanation. He looked at the two who would be taking the mission and saw that they were a little put out by the timescale.
"Well that is what the mission will look like to the public anyway." This statement brought the twos attention back to the man as he continued. "While you are at the school you will be in charge of the safety of a boy who will be joining the school this year."
"The boy is called Harry Potter and I have a feeling that his time at our school will not be as peaceful as I would like to believe." Minerva broke in seeing a gap in the conversation.
"And why do you think that?" Kakashi asked the women.
"Well as you will soon find out the boy is famous in our world for something that he did as a baby. He is known for killing a Dark Lord that, if he had not been stopped, would have taken over wizarding Britain. But I, along with others, fear that this man has not been stopped permanently and he will soon rise again," Minerva explained.
"Now that is some troubling news but I can see why you hired us now." Kakashi said.
"Speaking of being hired what is happening about payment?" Naruto asked rudely.
"You will be paid monthly in Galleons the currency of wizarding Britain to pay for whatever you need while you stay at Hogwarts and whatever is left you can get change in to Ryō." Hiruzen said with a hint of annoyance at Naruto interruption. He received a nod of satisfaction from Naruto.
"Now we have sorted out the details of the mission I think it is time for you two to head off to get ready for the mission." Hiruzen said dismissing the two shinobi.
"You go on a head Naruto I have something I wish to discuss before I go." Kakashi said to Naruto which got a nod in return as he left the office.
"Now first I have to know." Kakashi started as he turned to Hiruzen, "Do they know about what is going on?" Hiruzen just sighed when he heard this and McGonagall just looked confused.
"Yes they do. They jumped at the chance to get Naruto out of the village for such a long time." Hiruzen said.
"Excuse me, I know this isn't my place but who is it that wants Naruto out the village and why?" Minerva asked.
"I don't think I can tell you who as I do not wish to involve you in such affairs but I can tell you why. Naruto gained a power a few years ago and he could not control it at first but he has control over it now and it makes him very powerful but because of the power he requires a special diet." Hiruzen started.
A/N: I am evil aren't I? Now for those of you going it's not that big a deal he's talking about the Kyūbi he's not. It will be obvious in the next chapter what the power is but for now I won't tell you. Now this will hopefully will not be a generic Naruto goes to Hogwarts fic and I hope that you enjoy what I have planned for the story. Now as for a hint of what the power is here it is: It is not from the Naruto universe. That's it that's all you're getting. Anyway I'll see you next chapter.
