Hey guys! It's me, UltimateVegetaKai here, with just a few things to say before you start reading this story:
This will eventually be turned into a Manga. At the present moment, i just don't have the resources. But when I do, I can hopefully have the time to start a whole Manga of this story. I also just wanted to thank you all for sticking around, and please enjoy. This is my first Original fanfic, so don't burn me too bad XDD
The five sat at the oakwood table, laughing as they enjoyed their lunch break from the hardships of 11th grade. Except for Shin.
"Yuudai, i'm tired. Make make me happy." Yuudai's childhood friend Shin complained.
"How?" He asked sarcastically.
"I dunno, tell me a joke or something, Mr. Funnyman."
"Are you serious right now dude?" The long-haired brunette replied. He was in the middle of telling Zuki, his girlfrind for 2 years now, an old story rfom when he and Shin were kids.
"C'mon, Yuudai-chan." She spoke, lightly nudging him with her elbow.
"Alright. If it'll get you to stop complaining for five minutes, i'll do it. Deal?"
The crazy haired blonde nodded, dropping his chin on the table.
Yuudai smiled.
"Why couldn't the blonde add 10+5 on her calculator?" He asked.
This was nowhere near his best work.
In fact, he was known around the town as one of the funniest people alive. His sarcasmic comedy was one of his favorite personalities.
"Why?" Asked Hiroshi, a tall, skinny fellow with short hair. He and Yuudai had been friends since 4th grade.
"Because she couldn't find the "10" button." He punched the line in, as he watched his friends laugh.
"HAH!" Yelped Shin. He had apparently enjoyed it, because he was now rolling on the hardwood flooring of the cafeteria.
Yuudai just crossed his muscular arms and smiled as he wastched the event unravel beneath the table he sat at.
Zuki stood up to take out her trash.
"I'll get it, Zuki." Yuudai said, grabbing her tray and taking it up for her.
"How come he never takes out my garbage?" Pouted Ryuu.
"Does he love you as much as me?" Zuki teased.
Shin and Hiroshi finally stood to take out their trash, laughing along the way.
As the five return to their seats, the bell rings, dismissing them for History, the only class the whole group was in at the same time. They picked up their bags, and headed off to class.
Yuudai sat with his arms in his hands, just barely awake. He looked back to Shin, who had already fallen asleep
"Hey, Shin?" He whispered. No response. He laid his head back down.
He'd been having odd feelings since the morning. Feelings he couldn't explain.
Out of curiosity, he looked to the window, only to see small black shapes staring back.
Dark figures marching toward the building!
"What the hell is that!" He yelled, turning the attention of the class to the large number of shapes decreasing their distance between them and the building.
'I knew something was going to happen!' Yuudai thought, turning to each of his friends.
Suddenly, four men in masks and armor burst through the windows, unsheathing katanas.
The sound of screams and breaking glass wakes Shin, who is grabbed by Hiroshi, and pulled along until he can get his footing, as the group run as fast as they could as they hear the bloody screams of classmates they would probably never see again, bolting past classrooms on a course to the main exit.
They dodge the arms of several attackers as they finally reach the doors. Once they get outside, they look to the streets, where more of the armored soldiers are seen burning buildings and taking prisoners.
"What is all this!" Yelled Ryuu.
"C'mon guys, we gotta get outta here!" Commanded Yuudai, as the five teens run through the streets, taking the only safe-looking streets, until they are met with none other than a dead end.
"Damn!" Yelled Yuudai.
Suddenly, three soldiers jumped down from the rooftops, surrounding the group as they draw their swords.
"Who the hell are you people!?" Yelled Ryuu, who recieved no answer but a crooked smile.
Yuudai walked out in front of the rest of the group, getting into a fighting stance.
Legs spread apart, one foot in front of the other, knees bent, arms raised.
"EVERYONE STAY BEHIND ME!" Yuudai commanded as the men enclose on the group.
The first soldier lunges with his sword. Yuudai dodges to the left, and ducks under the sing of the second soldier. He sweeps the first, and he slams int the concrete. Before the last two have a chance to react, Yuudai grabs the fallen soldier's weapon, and blocks the swing of the third soldier. As they break apart, Yuudai throws his elbow into the second soldiers solar plexis. He quickly dodges the last soldier's swing, and knees him in the stomach.
After making sure the three were unconsious, he takes a soldiers belt, and sheaths the Katana into his belt, and looks only to see the shocked faces of his companions.
"Where... did you learn how to do that." Asked the confused childhood friend of their mighty rescuer.
"I'll explain later. Come on! We have to get out of the city!"
The five sneak off the streets, and follow Yuudai down an old, rugged dirt road through the woods.
"Where are we going, Yuudai?" Asked Ryuu.
"Somewhere safe."
The group continued pacing nervously through the thick brush of the woods.
"Well, now that we have time..." Shin started.
"What was that back there?"
So what did you think? I know it was a bit short, and I apologize. The chapters will be MUCH longer in the future. But until then, remember to review, favorite, and do whatever, depending on if your reading on my DeviantART or on my account. Thanks for reading, and goodnight!
