Flying In The Night
She flew through the night sky, her eyes and fists glowing a bright green. Her red-violet hair streamed behind her. The girl lazily made loops and other shapes as she flew, enjoying the autumn air.
A boy with ebony black hair sat on the roof of a T-shaped tower. The tower was on an island in the middle of the bay. The boy smiled as he watched his best friend enjoy herself.
The girl turned and fell. Even though it was a controlled dive, the boy worried. The water was cold, and he knew the girl could barely swim. Just seconds before the girl hit the water, she turned swiftly and began climbing as she flew towards the tower. The boy sighed, relieved.
The girl landed gracefully on the roof of the tower. She smiled, and her eyes looked curious as they and her hands suddenly stopped glowing. "Was I showing off too much?"
"No, you were great Starfire." The boy grinned.
The girl hugged him. "Thank you for watching me, Robin."
This was another of my writing prompts just floating around in my room...trust me, it looks like Beast Boy's room if he was a girl, although I have to share it with my younger sister...that's a scary thought, as she kinda acts like Raven most of the time and I tend to act like Starfire...never mind the rambling. I'm just extremely hyper...though I don't know what on...
