This is a songfic dedicated to one of my favourite songs, We Didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel witch actually does document some of the most important events in history this one portrays those from Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (the first book), only the chorus is to the tune the rest is roughly to tune but is mainly just there to rhyme and look good. ENJOY!

Dudley's Birthdays at the zoo, Harry Potter comes too

Preferred to be home instead but Mrs Figg broke her leg

Harry lets out a great big snake, doesn't get any birthday cake

The glass has vanished and to his closed he is banished

Received a letter from Hogwarts, Vernon is a bad sport

Second letter comes around, but it still can not be found

Harry has a birthday bash, then he's off in a flash

Hagrid takes him to the magic world, to buy some thing that are not soiled

Then he meets Draco, he is the lowest of the low

Goes to Gringotts for a stone, but Harry is not shown

Then it's off to catch the train, Hermione is a pain

Meets the Weasley's including Ron, the twins as well the best of cons

Then its time for the Sorting Hat, on a stool he is sat

He wants to be in Gryffindor, but the hat is not sure

Classes start for the lad, at the start he isn't bad

Then he meet Professor Snape, Potter has changed shape

Then they start to fly, Neville's arm breaks with a cry

Potter beats Malfoy, now he is Quidditch's best fly boy

Then they learn to levitate, higher then a saint

Ron's comments take their toll, Hermione attacked by a troll

Hagrid wins a dragon egg, someone is pulling his leg

Someone knows about the stone, they have targeted Hagrid all alone

Then the gang have detention, with Hagrid it would have been fun

They find the injured Unicorn, killed by the evil one

Harry worried about the rock, there might not be a secure enough rock

Tries to warn Dumbledore, but McGonagall is not sure

The bypass all the traps, there is problems for the chaps

Ron attacked by a piece of Chess, now the trio is one less

Voldemort is in Quirrels' Head, a problem need to be shed

Harry protected by his scar, Voldemort now gone afar

The day is saved once again, by the two friends

What else would you expect, with the Potter effect.
