Spawn of a Nightmare
A shadow flickered in the light of the moon. It stopped near a puddle. The shadow looked into the puddle, reveling itself as Nightmare Moon. "Foolish ponies. You thought I was gone. Well, I will get my revenge." she said. Another shadow flickered. "Yes. Celestia will rue the day she imprisoned us." said the other shadow, reveling itself as Discord. "She will regret imprisoning me into the moon. Our foal will get our revenge." Nightmare Moon said. She looked up at the moon. I hope our foal can take control of herself, unlike me. Her star-filled mane sparkled in the moonlight. "Discord, Celestia will find you soon. I'll care on. Go back to the palace, back to stone. I will see you a soon as possible." she said.

Nightmare Moon growled. She stomped her hooves into the ground. " You will never defeat me, Celestia!" she said. Celestia adjusted the crown on her head. "That's where you are wrong, Nightmare Moon." she said. Celestia's eyes glowed, forming a rainbow behind her. The rainbow sprouted out, attacking Nightmare. She screamed. "You will rue the day you did this, Tina!" she yelled. The rainbow enveloped her. It disappeared, imprisoning Nightmare Moon in the moon.
Nightmare Moon sighed. She was coming close to giving birth. "Curse you, Tina. Only if my spell can let me go to the Everfree Forest long enough for somepony to come by and help me through labor." she said. Wait, I can! But, I would need a disguise. she thought. Nightmare used a spell to leave a decoy on the moon and poofed herself to the Everfree Forest. She quickly turned herself into a unicorn and but, quickly fell due to the increasing pain. She heard hoofsteps coming towards her. "Are you okay?' came a female reply. Nightmare looked up to see a orange pegasus. "No, I'm about to give birth and I can't get to a hospital in time." she said. The pegasus sighed. "Doctor school came in handy. My name is Orange Swirl. What's yours?" she said. Nightmare's mind flew "I'm Starry." she said, lying. Orange smiled. "Well, Mrs. Starry, just breathe." she said, calmly.

Nightmare smiled as she was handed her child. "So beautiful." she said. Orange smiled. "You need help to get home? She asked. Nightmare shook her head. Orange trotted off. "Bye Mrs. Starry!" she said. Nightmare poofed back to the moon, and poofed out of her disguise. The decoy disappeared once she came back. The foal looked at her. "Momma?" she said. The filly held out it's hooves to hug Nightmare. She smiled. "I'm here. Mommy's here, Toxic." she said, naming the filly.
