I didn't like how the last part of the finale went and I don't like that Sokka ended up Suki. He should've ended up with Toph. But that's what fanfiction is for, right?
(This takes place right after 'Sozin's Comet' ended)
"Toph, can I talk to you?" Sokka asked, Suki glaring at him, as if he was going to do something wrong. "Sure Snoozles, what's on your mind?" Toph responded. "Alone." He said. "Alright." She replied. He led her away from ear shot of anyone else. "What's bothering you?" She asked, she also had something bothering, but wouldn't bring it up. She wasn't supposed to feel the way she really felt. "I'm confused. I'm confused about love. I know everyone thinks I'm in love with Suki, but I can't help but wonder if she's the wrong person, if I'm supposed to be with the blind earthbender I've known for a while. I think I'm more in love with her than I have ever have been with Suki." Sokka had confessed everything, even if he shouldn't have. "You really mean that, don't you?" Toph asked, small smile forming, knowing he wasn't lying. "Yeah. I'm in love with you Toph. I love you." He admitted. "I love you too Snoozles, but I've had to judge you by your personality, which I think is a great one." She responded. Before either one noticed, they had begun a kiss. After they broke away, both turned bright shades of red. "But what about Suki?" Toph asked. "Oh forget about her, let's just go back inside." Sokka said. "Now he's all mine!" She thought, sounding ecstatic. "Now I don't have to worry about confessing anymore, now all I have to do is break it to Suki." He thought, worrying about what she would do, be angry, or be happy for the new couple. All well, she would just have to move on with her life. Toph smiled, satisfied. Sokka also smiled, he was satisfied. They both were.

A short little oneshot. Again I personally think Tokka should've been on the show, and again that's what fanfiction is for, right?
