Emerald packed. Hogwarts started soon. Now if she could only ditch those wretched foster parents. If they found out she was going to Hogwarts,she'd be in for a good whipping. She packed the last of her stuff and grabbed floo powder out of her oak dresser. She hastily made a fire,which was difficult,considering she had no match nor lighter. When the fire got started,she threw some floo powder in it and muttered"Halgeenown"(a place she needed to visit),but gagged. Suddenly the room around her disappeared as if a hallucination. Emerald blacked out. When she awoke,She saw forms flying above her,squeaking. She got up,And looked around. She was in a graveyard,an old one apparently. The Tombstones were worn and barely legible . as she was wondering where she was,She stumbled over a tombstone,She got up,and,there,in front of her ,was a scarecrow that held a worn sign that read 'welcome to halloweentown'
