Read Deep Think, loved it, agreed with it. Had to write a Nell/Sam oneshot. That's just the way life goes, I read something, I like it, and then I can't write anything else until I've written this.
Established Nell/Sam
Disclaimer: Don't own. Never will. Nothing more to say.
"No, no, no, no. Not happening. No."
"Sam! You're being completely unreasonable!" Nell yelled at him. "I can do this, I know I can."
Sam stopped his pacing of the Weapons Room. "It's not that you can't do it, baby. I know you can. I just…this is too dangerous. The stakes are too high." His gaze lingered on her stomach.
"Samuel Hanna, do you have any idea how many times you've gotten shot at this past month?" She asked menacingly.
"No." The small woman walked up to him, trying to get in his face. But that wasn't going to happen, considering he was as tall as her when he was sitting.
"Ha. Well, let's see, 5 separate occasions…about 25 shots each fight…125 times, Sam! And you're getting pissy over one time? You have no idea."
Sam sat down in a chair and pulled Nell down onto his lap. "I was a SEAL, Nell. I think I can handle myself…But you…Baby, you're the one thing I can't live without. I just want to protect you." Sam ran his hand through her hair. "And the baby."
"Sam, you can't protect me from everything. You have to accept that." Her doe-like brown eyes pleaded with him. "Let me do this."
"Can't Eric do it?"
"It would take too long to teach him and even if I was talking him through, it's too difficult…If there was another way, I'd not go but I have to. There's no other choice." Nell placed her hand on his cheek , Sam leaned into her touch. "I love you."
"I love you, too." He said before kissing her. God, he hoped kissing her never got old.
And you know what? It never did.
And…I guess that's it. I can't write detailed kissing scenes…Maybe because I haven't been kissed. I don't know. I just can't do it.
Ah well, this was fun.
Read and Review…and check out Deep Think.
