Poison(ed) Wine III
(in the eyes of Shuichi Shindou)
I
open
my drowsy eyes
My
stomach grumbles
I
groan
And
turn
over
My
legs get stuck
in the bedding
I
sigh
as I untangle
them from the damp maroon sheets
My
eyes settle
on the man next to me
Deeply
asleep
His
blonde hair is soft and it sways
in the December breeze that
enters the room from the
open window
A
small trail of drool is sliding
from his mouth
It
lands on his pillow and
starts to pool
up there before getting
absorbed
I
smile slightly
I
wonder if he knows
how cute he really
is
I
wonder
if he'll remember
last night
My
smile fades
Will
he remember how our bodies
moved together
How
sweat ran like rivers from
our pores
How
our souls embraced and
became one
How
we never let go of one
another's bodies
How
our realese completed
the spell which made us
one
I
yearn for him to
remember
For
I shall never forget
the night we proved our
love
Again,
I smile
And
I kiss
his open lips softly
But
before I leave their
warmth and protection
I
whisper
gently into them
Penetrating
his soul
With
the only words my being comprehends
I
love
you
I
love
you
