"I will be the strongest Hokage!/ I will be the Fire Lord!" two souls screamed, in a separate dimension a being watched them declare themselves to the world. In the darkness, a white smile gleamed.

Four years later,
"Lord Zuko, this is a foolish endeavor. There is no need to do this, please stay here. The lost nations do not matter now; you have only recently won against your sister 4 months ago. Your throne is not secure." His uncle pleaded with him.
"I know uncle, which is why I must go. There can only be one ruler of fire, I can't allow another just because they live in the lost lands. Worst yet, this one claims he is the strongest ever. I must break this silly notion of his. There is only room for one Fire Lord!" Zuko responded vehemently, "He has directly challenged my pride uncle, you cannot stop me from destroying his."
Iroh stared at the young man he loved so dear, 'Please do not fall like your grandfather Zuko, please.' With a silent nod, Iroh stepped aside and allowed his nephew onto his ship. "Be careful Zuko, for the stability of the Fire Nation, return."
Zuko acknowledged his uncle's words before ordering the start of their journey.

3 months later
"Hokage-sama, a man has arrived at the gates dressed in samurai armor who claims he is a Fire Lord!" a young beauty with brunette hair and simple glasses informed.
A seemingly young man, 19 at the most, thought about the information. "What does he want that requires my attention?" He asked, his tone of voice held a slight mischievousness that did NOT fit an authority figure such as he.
"He claims the right to duel you; he wishes to prove he is the true ruler of fire. I don't quite understand it myself, but he has 3 battalions of similarly armored guards and I don't think it would be wise to ignore him.
"I will be there within the hour." Naruto said as he finished up his paperwork.

47 minutes later
"So you are the man who calls himself the 'Fire Lord'. Hmmn?" Naruto was dressed in a cloak similar to his nine-tailed state except the gold colors were changed to swirling red and orange.
"I am Fire Lord Zuko. What is your name Fire Shadow?" Zuko was dressed in a heavily modified version of his army's plated armor. He received help from both Aanf and Toph to create it out of some fragments of the legendary Sozin comet. It also contained shed scales from the two living dragons that he had received as a gift after his coronation.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. You have come to challenge me on what grounds?" Naruto prodded.
"On the grounds of wrongfully calling yourself the strongest Fire Ruler, on grounds of proving my worth and right to the throne of the Fire Nation!" With a determined look on his face, Zuko dropped into a low stance while drawing one of the two swords that match his armor.
"I see, so this is a fight for pride?" Naruto's eyes dimmed a little. "Then I am afraid yours will be shattered under my might."
Zuko ran fire through both his blade and armor, trusting the magic of a dragon's scales to protect him.
Naruto jammed five fingers into his gut and twisted, golden fire billowed out and illuminated his form.
With a blast, the two opponents rushed the other.
