Hello VA fandom. I know this isn't a VA story but what I have to say is relevant and I believe you all are interested.

So, many of you must know about the Vampire Academy movie that was released in February this year. I know the opinions about it were controversial. Many said the movie was rushed and they were right. Daniel Waters in fact, Vampire Academy's screenwriter, has admitted that himself.

That though, among other things fans didn't particularly like, is in the PAST now. Why? Because we have a chance at watching Frostbite come to life.

Now now, you all must be wondering why getting Frostbite means past mistakes will stay there; in the past. Well, the VAfamily is fortunate enough to be able to communicate with the makers of Vampire Academy. So when the movie was released, we fans went back to the page to leave our review of it, therefore our complains and everything that, in our opinion, went wrong with the movie's production. We were heard (or read?). Now, Frostbite already has new producers and a new screenwriter whom a personally love since I read a message of his in the OVAM page (I will leave a link down below for you to read it).

Also, rest assured, we will be FULLY informed during the production of Frostbite.

Come on, which fandom has that? We are immensely lucky. You'd better believe it.

But, there's a catch. In order for Frostbite to get into production, we need to raise $1.5 million. The people behind the movie need to see we are still there with them, still dedicated. So, in their Indiegogo campaign, they are selling a number of perks (there will be a link for this too) and the money raised from all contributions will be used for the movie's production.

Needless to say, the perks are AWESOME. They vary from early casting announcements, updates during production and a pdf copy of the script to a bunch of signed stuff, VA clothing and having an ACTUAL part in the movie. Go to the link and see all the perks, you'll be amazed.

PS. I'd like to mention I personally really liked the Vampire Academy movie, maybe it was a little rushed but it was ok, and the Waters brothers got a lot of points for showing us the actual accident happen, when Rose became shadow-kissed. I fully support them and I'm definitely contributing.

PS2. Any questions you may have can be answered in the facebook page below, but if you still want to ask me something, please don't review as a guest as I can't reply to that.
