I'm breathing hard. The battle is swirling around me.

I'm shaking. Blood stains my scratched body.

The breath is driven out of my lungs, as a great weight crashes down on my body. It feels as though all my bones have snapped like twigs. The weight is released, and a shadowed body looms above me, blocking out the moon. "Bloodclaw" I breathe.

He sneers at me, and lunges, paw outstretched, claws unsheathed. I use the little strength I have left, and doge to the side. A low growl rumbles deep in the toms throat, as he whirls around to face me, his blood red eyes glinting. He leaps at me, quicker then before. Before I can run, he has pinned me to the ground. I struggle, but my feeble attempts are no match for his power. He brings his face close to mine, and I shudder. He nips at my ear, teasing me. I yelp, and he laughs. "Please." I whimper.

He ignores my plea, and lashes out. His claws score down my flank. I cry out in pain, as blood wells from the cut. "Such a shame." He says, shaking his head. "You really are gorgeous." He grinned slyly at me. I took a chance, and kicked out with my hind legs, dragging them down his soft underbelly. "You'll regret that." He growled, and swiped a paw at my muzzle. I skid across the ground, and he walks over to me, head high.

I can't move. The pain is too much.

He brings his muzzle to my neck. He curls his lip, revealing pointed teeth. "Help me!" I screech.

No one came.
