I decided to do a sequel to the poem, "Jake's Poem to Rose", which was my very first poem that I've done in my life. I've returned from a long poet's block and I've come up with this. Hopefully, I'll be back with the next poem of "Paper Poems", a spin-off collection of "Passionate Poems by Star-crossed Lovers". Please enjoy my latest poem.

My Poem for You

I knew I've seen you from somewhere,

You're the kind of guy that I always care,

You and me are a perfect pair,

I'm having a normal life,

Perhaps someday I'll be your wife,

I'm living with my parents in Hong Kong,

You introduced yourself to me as Jake Long,

Being together, that's where we belong,

Our relationship is stronger than friendships,

Finally reunited, we've kissed each other on the lips,

Under the moon,

Seems like you have to return home soon,

Life doesn't seem to be the same,

I hardly can recall your name,

In the streets, we saw each other again,

The picture that you accidentally leave,

Shows what you've told me is something I now believe,

In the past, I was a Huntsclan member,

A memory I don't want to remember,

When I met you, my destinies were changed forever,

I couldn't choose between my fates however,

Either love for you or my aim,

Which brings me pain,

There were a lot of things that we've been through,

Our love is pure and true,

I'm your precious girl,

Who you've cherished like a pearl.

I'm happy that I've made a comeback to this section. I can't remember the last time I was here. The reason why I was in the mood for doing a sequel was because Chinese New Year is coming and it will be the year of the Ox soon. It's a bigger deal to me and my family, as well as the other relatives from Hong Kong. I've been there four times so far so I don't need the final episode to see what the city looks like. According to my mother, my grandma wants me and my family to head back there to see her and the other family members. However, it's a waste of money and time 'cause the flight will be expensive and Chinese New Year only lasts for a day so it's pretty much a ridiculous idea. I'm relieved that my mum refused this.

Anyhoo, I haven't decided what I should do for the upcoming special day; either do a picture or an American Dragon: Jake Long Chinese New Year oneshot special. This poem is slightly longer than the first if you noticed; it has more lines than before. I used to be obsessed with the main couple of this cartoon but since the whole toon has ended, I'm now lovin' and supporting another star-crossed pair which happens to be Count Bleck/Count or Lord Blumiere x Tippi/Lady Timpani from Super Paper Mario for the Wii. They are just like Romeo x Juliet whilst Jake Long/American Dragon x Rose/Huntsgirl are like Antony x Cleopatra. How weird… Anyway, please send me good reviews and feedback. I'll try my best to reply to all of them when I have some spare time.
