lapis x steven

Steven always enjoyed watching T.V with lapis, she always was good company. Lapis seemed to like the idea of T.V all together seeing as how she always agreed to watch it if Steven offered. It was nice and quiet in the house. The gems had all left for a mission, one where Steven was not allowed to go on.

Without skipping a beat steven quickly invited Lapis over.

As the show began to end, Steven go up and moved towards his box of movies and VHS tapes.

" so what u wanna watch now lapis." steven asked with smile.

" Anything, I trust you'll find something good to watch."

Steven smiled and turned to put in Finding Nemo, he knew she would love this one. Steven slides in the VHS tape and sits down on the bed with Lapis. The movie starts and Steven looks at lapis and smiles at the look on lapis face. Suddenly the movie disappeared from the screen. Lapis was the first one to move off the bed. She began poking and hitting the T.V, it didn't do anything so she then turned to Steven. Steven stared at the old T.V trying to figure out a reason for its sudden interruption.

"sorry lapis the T.V is kinda old think we might be done with movies for tonight." Steven said

Lapis was very disappointed, she was really enjoying her time with Steven. Would he even still want her over now that T.V wasn't on?

Steven on the other hand was trying to think of something to do. He knew Lapis really enjoyed hanging out together and he wanted the time together to last even longer. He noticed just how late it was outside so going to the big donut wasn't happening and it was too dark to play on the beach. finally a great idea popped in his head. he turned to Lapis and smiled.

"Lapis how would you like go on a date."

Lapis thought for a moment. She didn't get to go out very much, people asked to many questions. Mabye they wouldn't if she was with Steven. yes a date with him sounded like a great idea.

"sure i'd love to, where would be going?" Lapis asked

"It's a surprize." He said bluntly " don't worry Lapis you'll like it."

Steven knew Lapis wasn't a big fan of surprises but he he wanted this to be special.

" Okay Steven when are we going?"

"Soon." he replied " let me get dressed and we can leave."

Lapis gave a small nod and sat on the couch, she couldn't wait until the date. Steven smiled to himself as he picked out the perfect outfit to his date.
