Chapter one-
Mucius was looking down at his book, studying his Roman words, when suddenly the whole class burst into laughter. He looked up and saw that Plaiblius had snuck behind the teacher and wrote on a wax tablet the words "Caisius is a dumbbell."
Mucius was a tall boy with long blond hair, and he was normally the leader of the boys. Plaiblius was not short, but not tall either. He had black hair, and not a lot of it. He was always pulling pranks and telling jokes. Their teacher told them to study their Roman words and write them three times each.Their teacher's name was Antonius and he was very nice, but when it came to pranks he was very strict. He was famous for his writing of shapes, physics, and math. He was reading a book and was very mad when he looked up and saw the writing on the tablet.
"Go back to your seats!" he snapped.
He grabed Plaiblius on his way to his seat and he said
"Pack up youre things and go home; I will talk to your mother about this tomorrow.
Plaiblius moped to his seat and grabded all of his things, heading for the door. Mucius, still confused, looked out the window and saw him sitting on a barrel. All of the boys were in Patrician's famillys, and so he thought that Plaiblius was waiting for a slave to come and guide him home.
Julius and Zantapus where still gigling, but trying not to.
Julius was the tallest in the class and one of the smartest.He had brown hair, just barely longer then Plaiblius's.
Zantapus was about the same height as Plaiblius.He was big, red-headed, and he had a lot of hair.
Antonius quickly told them to stop laughing.
After a few hours, Mucius looked out the window and saw Plaiblius still sitting on the barrel,but then he walked down to the bridge and sat under it for a long time.
The next day, Mucius came to shcool, but Antonius was not there..
