Mikans's Muses
Sigh, 'If only if only' the poor author sighed 'the brain in this head was as great as Tachibana-sensei's. The company waits below, successful and rich, waiting for a lawsuitttttttttt!' Anyone who knows where the base of this disclaimer came from gets internet brownies!
Why are children always dismissed so easily by adults? Why did they always say the people you know as children, you would probably never see when you got older? Why did they say love was never found by children?
Sakura Mikan often pondered the answers to these questions, though never for very long for something always came along and distracted her. Mostly when she did ponder for longer then her usual 2 seconds, she pondered about love. Why did adults say it was impossible to find live as children? Why couldn't a child find their soul mate? Some people were lucky like that. Why couldn't the adults except it?
Sakura Mikan, only 11, had found her soul mate. However the adults told her she was too young to worry about love. She should forget love and have fun while she could. How cold she forget love? How could she forget love when it sat right next to her?
Hyuuga Natsume, her class mate and soul mate. They didn't always get along smoothly, but it made things interesting. He was often in pain and the only medicine that had any effect was her caring. How could she forget that? How much he needed her. Her soft touch and silly antics. How could she forget how much she needed him? His harsh but needed reality checks and warm protective embraces. They hurt when they were apart, how could she damn herself with that pain? How could she damn him with that pain? Sakura Mikan had found her soul mate. They would always be together. She knew it. Why couldn't the adults understand that?
Mikan cried and beat her hands on the table. "Why don't they understand?" she cried. She stopped her antics when she felt an arm around her waist. "Don't think too much." Natsume muttered. Mikan looked into the crimson eyes she loved so much and smiled before resting her head on Natsume's shoulder. "I love you Natsume." she whispered. Natsume chuckled before answering, "I know, Polka dots."
I don't really know why I wrote the ending that way. It's just what I wrote. It seems like Natsume right? I'm very early in my fandom so the characters might be OOC and I might not even know it. I think it got it though. Anyway, I hope you likey! Review please!
