Pokemon XD: The after story!

Summery: Kane is a 12 year old girl that moves to the Orre region. She has to stay in the Pokemon HQ lab with her dad because Kane was abused by her mom. While she is there, Kane meets Jess (The hero) and develops a crush on him. So, read the story to find out what happens in this wild adventure! Enjoy!
"Kane! Kane, wake up!" Kane was rushed to the hospital after her mom had punched her out. The neighbors had heard Kane screaming and crying and called the cops. Kane's mom is now in sentenced to life in prison.
"Ugh… Where am I and what happened?" Kane asked as she started to sit up.
"You're in the hospital of the Pokemon HQ lab. You are going to live with you're dad because you're mom abused you… Do you remember now?" The nurse explained.
"Oh yeah, now I remember… So, where is my dad at?"
"He is training Jess. Jess is the one you will be joining when you start you're Pokemon journey." Kane decided to look around for her dad and Jess. When she stepped out the hospital doors, she saw her dad training with a boy about her age with red hair and green eyes. His hair was kind of spiked.
'He's kind of cute… I hope that's Jess, hehe.'
"Kane, there you are! How are you feeling?"
"Alright, I guess."
"Good, how about we go and get you're starting Pokemon?"
"That would be awesome!" Kane follows her dad to a room with a lot of people in it. Towards the back of the room, there were three pokeballs.
"Ok Kane, go ahead and pick one. You can pick one too Jess, you already have Umbreon." Aiden said. (Kane's dad)
"Ok, I guess I pick that one." Kane said, pointing at the pokeball on the left.
"I pick the one on the right then." Jess said.
"Kane, you picked Chikorita, the grass type pokemon. Jess, you picked Totodile the water type. So, you two can get ready to go! Since Jess already has experience with pokemon, he can help you out." Aiden explained.
"But I just got here." Kane said to her dad.
"Yeah, she did just get here" Jess added on.
"Well, if you go now, there is more pokemon you can catch! So off you two go!" Aiden pushed Kane and Jess out the doors.
'Well… This should be fun. I get to travel with Jess and he is super cute!' Kane just thought to herself. She looked over at Jess then started to blush. Jess looked over towards Kane and asked her,
"Uhh… Are you ok? You're face is kinda red."
"Oh, yeah, I'm ok… Don't worry about me." Kane's blue eyes looked up into the sky. The beginning of a long journey that she would never forget!
