I never expected to have fallen so hard for someone, especially him. I glanced at a snoozing Karkat. I smiled. He was much cuter of a napper than me. Even in his sleep, he had an intense shade of pink blush that spread from his nose, to either side of his face, reaching the tips of his ears. His horns were hidden by his messy locks. He was wearing my shirt. It was far too big on him, and was pulled up a little at his hip. His blanket was wrapped around his legs. I couldn't help but giggle at the little mess I called my lover. His blanket was sky blue, and decorated with little pink and purple cupcakes. He wasn't wearing any pants, just a pair of maroon and indigo boxers. I freed his legs from the blanket and pulled it up to his shoulders, covering him up fully before opening the window. I looked out to see it was snowing. Not hard, but ever so lightly. There was already a thick pallet of white powder covering my yard, the street, and the sidewalk. Street lights illuminated the dark street, and made each and every little snowflake glow. Creamy white clouds enveloped the moon, letting the faintest glow shine through. I let out a heavy exhale, and saw my breath floating through the air. I wasn't wearing my shades, and it felt nice, just sitting in your room, with only my lover and I. He let out the quietest whimper. A look of fear spread across his face, and I got worried. Maybe he was having a nightmare? I crawled back into bed, getting under the covers, wrapping him up in my arms. I held him close to me, and he began to shiver. I smiled and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. His eyes fluttered lightly as he woke up. He looked at me, eyes wide.
"You're not wearing your shades?" He asked.
"Nope. I don't need to right now. Plus it's not like I sleep with them on, weirdo."
"Hey, shut up asshat! And close the damn window. I'm freezing." He said, turning over and breaking free from my grip. I grinned.
"I love you too, sweet heart." I said, closing my eyes.
"You're eyes are gorgeous..." He whispered groggily, and fell asleep. I then slowly drifted off for a few hours of sleep.
