Within the shadows

with a face so blank

and eyes so white

most people don't know he's there

it doesn't matter if it's day or night

he doesn't seem to really care

he's always silent with out stretched arms

and as much as it horrifies you

it looks as though he will bring no harm

comforting his victims

who don't know what he'll do

he waits in the darkest of shadows

making people look in fear

like as if they're facing the gallows

because of him many people disappear

no matter who you are

look whenever you can

for he maybe right there

the one they call the slender man
