I stepped out of the dress shop, Alice hanging on my arm. I should have known as soon as Edward asked me out for our romantic evening that Alice was going to drag me to the mall, again. Oh well, at least we were leaving. And I had to admit, I was a little excited. He said he had special news to tell me, and not very many news are important to Edward.

It was a quiet drive back, which was unusual, especially for Alice. When we got back Edward wasn't out front to greet me which I thought was odd, he always greeted me. I searched the house until I finally ended up in the background. When I did my breath caught, it was gorgeous! A white blanket laid on the ground surrounded by thousands of rose petals, I felt tears run down my face aas I took in the magnificent scene.

"Do you like it?" my angel whispered into my neck, I jumped, and turned around to smack him on the arm.

"Could you not try and give me a heart attack, I swear that's a new vampire hobby for you guys.' I said jokingly. He hugged me tightly.

"I love you" he spoke, he sounded a little sad, almost like he was talking to himself.

"Whats wrong Edward?" I asked him, gazing into his scorching golden eyes, fro a second I lost my train of thought, but his voice brought me back.

"Bella, we're going to South America for a month. The Amazon Coven needs us to help them, please understand I'm not leaving forever, just for a month."

"Wha-when?" I spoke, tears welling up in my eyes.

"We're leaving tonight, I will come back to you Bella, I will, I promise you."

"W-will you call me?"

"Everyday, I have to go, everyone else is gone, I love you Bella, and I'll be back."

"I love you too, I'll be counting the days when I get to see you, and I'll be waiting for your phone calls."

"Goodbye, my lovely Bella, You will never leave my mind".

He gave me a chaste kiss on the lips, then turned and ran.

He's gone, I know not forever like he had promised once before, but I would miss him terribly. I kept the window open, just out of sheer habit. I knew I'd never be able to sleep, so I called Jacob, he would keep me company.

"Hello." his husky voice sent calm waves through me,

"Jake, listen Edward went to South America for a month, so, you wanna hang, go see a movie, work on a car, whatever."

"Wait wait wait, so the bloodsuckers gone! Sure I'll come over, lets go see that new movie, umm, My Soul to Take, yah that one, I heard its about a vamp-. Oops sorry, we don't have to go see that one,"

"No, its fine, we can go see that one."

"Cool, I'll meet you there."

"Kay, bye Jake."

"Bye, Bells."

I got ready, nothing fancy, I wasn't really excited about seeing that movie, but I had to keep myself entertained somehow. I walked downstairs, no surprise, finding Charlie watching T.V. He was smiling, no doubt about Edward. But I knew he would come back, he wouldn't leave me again.

"That movie was so inaccurate. 1st off- Vampires do not melt in the sunlight, they sparkle. 2nd- They are not souless monsters! Ughh that drives me nuts!" I ranted after the movie.

"Jeez Bells if you are going to act like this the whole time your bloods- I mean vampire is gone your going to go nuts."

"Not funny Jake, but your right. What else do you wanna do?" I asked, a little annoyed with myself actually.

Then both of our face lit up at the same time, we turned to each other,

"Motorcycles." we said in unison.
